It's pretty obvious that she uses the Rinne Sharingan to transverse dimensions, but how could she get to the main dimension if she had no Rinne Sharingan at that point?

She got the Rinne Sharingan from eating the chakra fruit on the main dimension, and supposedly traveled from another dimension to eat it... Did she use Byakugan to get there originally???

Wasn't it said there were several god trees across the worlds? If so she might have had chakra before she ate the one on earth.

As it was previously stated she came from another planet, not deminsion. Her methods of Space Travel are unknown though so your primus still stands. I wouldn't think so hard or long about though, it'll never be explained or even elaborated on in my opinion.

What's interesting is that Kaguya in fact had prior knowlage of the God Tree, it's fruit and a preconceived notion that consuming it's fruit would bless her with power (which it did). So wherever she came from had to have some type of connection & understanding (knowlage) of the NV or NP (Naruto Planet).

What's even more interesting is that the planet she took control over wasn't her own which leaves us with endless theories...

We can only assume it was by chance that she was "placed" on Earth. We already know from Hagoromo that she was the first humanoid to have chakra and that she attained it from the fruit on that planet. We can also infer that she had no knowledge about the tree prior because she only ate it in time of war and conflict and it was strictly forbidden as a sacred object. Asking for answers beyond this becomes trivial because no one can make a claim with proper evidence and the story will never reach that level of detail.
