Caitlin was standing just beside the great lake which surrounded Amegakure, when suddenly a person appeared on the lake standing on the surface of lake with their back turned towards her. Without wasting anytime for introduction they asked her why she wanted to learn Rain Ninjutsu, something that was very hidden and only a handful of people were allowed to learn secrets of this Ninjutsu. She couldn't possible know who the person standing before her was if not for his characteristic Red hair and a cloak with red clouds on it. She knew that she was being asked these questions be the leader of village himself. This made her both happy and scared at the same time. She was happy to be able to receive training from the mighty leader himself but was scared as to not disappoint the Leader. With a note of fear in her voice she spoke'
"Umm... Ummm, Sir first off let me say that, it is my greatest honor to be trained by yourself and I will try my best to not disappoint you."
Waiting a moment to gather her breath and thoughts she again started speaking
"To answer your questions, I will start with that I have recently had a misfortune to spar against a fellow villager and from that fight I came to understand just how hard it can be to fight against someone who has learned rain ninjutsu. Individually defending against the rain technique is pretty hard as most of the time you cannot even see which direction the attack is going to come from as it is raining all around. You can also blow the clouds away but they always gather back around and can even be manipulated to return over the field. I also have some ideas to prevent the clouds from being blown away. That spar was in Amegakure so it was already raining but its not just limited to Rainy environment as you can always create rain wherever there are sufficient clouds to use the ninjutsu. Rain techniques are pretty versatile as they are divided into both offensive and defensive and there limitless possibilities to utilize the Rain ninjutsu. Rain techniques are faster to perform than other elements. I am a proud member of Amegakure and since its always raining in the village, I would like to use that to my advantage and be able to defend the village against intruders and all those who are not welcome. "
