Rain is basically just like water release differing only in the aspect that unlike water release, user cannot create rain jutsu out of nowhere and have to use environmental aspects like clouds or already falling rain drops.

Weakness | Just like water release, Rain release is also weaker to Earth element. Wind on the other hand can blow away the clouds effectively stopping rain and thus Rain jutsus. Using lightning elements during rain can also be deadly as user can electrocute himself. Though all the weaknesses basically depends on the type of counter that opponent uses. Being weak to other element doesn't mean that it can be stopped with just any jutsu. There has to be specific counter which is correctly used as is case with all the other jutsus.

Stregnths | Rain is stronger than Fire.

I have actually read the rain ninjutsu thread and elemental weakness thread so many times that I almost remember it all, because I wanted to learn about all the weaknesses of other elements. Typed it myself. I have never actually copy pasted in any of my trainings

After he is ordered to perform the Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique, Kuzan quickly performs a single hand seal while gathering raw chakra. After a moment he manipulates the chakra to convert it into Suiton chakra. After that he sends all the suiton chakra into the sky above and manipulates the clouds using his own chakra to make rain fall from the clouds. As the rain starts falling on the ground and sensei, Kuzan could actually sense the position sensei was standing when rain infused with kuzan's chakra fell on Sensei and came in contact with his chakra.

Note: I performed single hand seal, because bio has Water as primary specialty.

Hmmm... Nice.. So I want you to stand in the rain for one whole day. I want you to meditate while constantly sending your chakra into the clouds and all the rain drops as you can.. When you do that, I want you to make it rain harder

After listening to Sensei's instructions, Kuzan quickly backs up a little and stands up straight. He brings both his hands in front of his chest and joins them together as if he was clapping and closes his eyes. He keeps on sending his chakra to clouds and all the rain drops he could possibly do. He stands there fro a whole day while noticing through his chakra in the rain that sensei had left the field. But, his orders were to keep on meditating for a whole day. So he stood there with his eyes closed and hands in front of his chest. After a long time had passed he increases the amount of chakra that he was sending to the clouds and manipulates it in such a way that it started to rain harder. Kuzan did this for whole 24 hours before opening his eyes and sitting on the ground as he was too tired to stand anymore.

After listening to sensei's instructions and being surprised by them, Kuzan (hesitatingly ) starts to concentrate all his chakra on one drop and manipulates it to harden to a point where it would be able to pierce a part of person. The drop was exactly above the hand of sensei. Then crowley manipulates the drop to fall right in the center of sensei's palm. It pierces right through the hand of sensei. (I hope not)

After listening to his new orders, Kuzan was left baffled as he thought it was normal for clothes to absorb water, yet sensei made it sound like there is some kind of trick to it. So he just takes of his coat and then lets his shirt open in rain waiting for it to absorb into his clothes. But rain drained right out of them. So he keeps thinking as to what he has to do, when suddenly from his time in water training with Ushiro sensei he remembered a technique where you could hide your hole body in even a small puddle of water by manipulating water chakra. So he thought what if I could use water chakra to retain the rain in my clothes. So he quickly channels raw chakra into his clothes and then converts it into water chakra. To his surprise all the rain that fell on his clothes after they had been infused with rain chakra, got retained in them and didn't drain.

Didn't know whether I had to just hang my clothes in the rain or utilize the rain jutsu, So I did the latter.

Nice... that is a way to hold yyour opponent in place.. speaking of holding your opponent in place.. I want you to change the quality of the water that falls around your opponent into sticky water. or rather sticky rain

After listening to Sensei's instructions, crowley quickly channels his chakra once more into the rain and manipulates it to become sticky with help of substances from the atmosphere. As the rain falls on the ground around a small rock, it adheres to it and holds it in the place. After that crowley moves towards the rock and tries to pick it up but is unable to do so.

After listening to his next set of instructions, kuzan quickly concentrates his chakra into large amount of rain drops and performs some hand seals. After that he places his hands in front of him and manipulates the rain drops with his chakra to stack in front of him forming a wall of water made from rain drops. He keeps his hands attached to the wall and as soon as he removes his hands, the wall of water loses it's strength and disperses.

After sensei's next set of instruction, kuzan channels his chakra into the clouds and manipulates them in such a way that the clouds descent from the sky and surround him like a moving wall, only that this wall is made of clouds.

Alright, taking over from here. I'm not familiar with Teno's training style so I'll have to backtrack a little bit. Would you prefer an RP style of training or simple straight forward analysis?

Roleplay it is! Going to RP as my old Nagato bio, as it is most fitting. We'll back track a bit to introductions and then jump straight into techniques.
