Okay, there's definitely Fishmen at the bottom of the sea that would help Luffy escape, and they have slugs capable of sensing mirrors being thrown down, but they're all half red herring in my book.
Pudding's carpet is fast enough to bolt without being seen, so she could pick up Luffy and not stop to look back, but she's a herring too. Besides, there's heaps of tons of dozens of snipers and shooters within Momma's army.
The saviors will be Bege and Germa! Germa is returning and my bet is they'll go towards the place they think the Strawhats are most likely to be: the most obvious place. Where Big Mom and her homies are. Odds are they won't miss a giant ball of fire that emits light who knows how far.
Germa's role will be defeating Pero and his army that will obviously try to rid of Bege or keep Big Mom from the cake.
Bege will successfully give Big Mom the cake and you know what will happen??
She'll die!
Just kidding... She'll pass out and it'll enable Bege to do whatever he wants. Her eating a simple Semla after a rampage put her to sleep. This cake changed Bege's mind and knocked out cookers! It'll probably put her in a coma.

Now let me make this clear. I don't care what Bege does. I honestly think his wife will tell him not to kill Big Mom or he won't be able to harm her skin. But this is about Luffy. No one will be near since those following Big Mom will have been dealt with by Germa and Bege's ship is pretty isolated from her other underlings.
I think this is where Luffy and the Strawhats will use Brulee to go. With Big Mom sleeping, they could leave the island in peace. Look at the walls in Bege's castle.
Not one, not two, but three(?? could've been just 2 on that page, but there's even more tbh) photos of himself on just one page. I think it goes without saying that Bege is a vain man, so what are the odds of him not having a single mirror? Even if he lacks a mirror, there's no way an entire kingdom(Germa) doesn't have one. The Strawhats will use them however it is that they enter the mirror world with Luffy. Just watch.
