It reminds me how Sasuke forced his Sharingan to go 2nd tomoe during his fight with Haku before it went back to standard 1 tomoe. Bolt seems to be doing the same thing, but he doesn't realize he has a 'Dojutsu' yet.

But I guess this is what Momoshiki meant by his blue eyes will take everything from him. They had to nerf Boruto for the plot if they are making him this strong already

Oh damn, i thought that was a byakugan! I got that same feeling too. I guess, it's inevitable that we were going to enter op territory sooner or later. I just hope we can enjoy these small, part 1 like fights for a while before we turn it up to 11.

I think we don't have to worry much. Boruto didn't even realize that it was happening, meaning we probably won't see the Dojutsu until the very last second of the 'Part 1 Arc' -- Otherwise, Boruto will be too OP with that eye.

I'm just glad Boruto awakened something on his own /w the seal, that serves the haters right. Ya'll can GTFO :lol

Probably. But I wouldn't confirm it 100% yet, because the Tenseign is the evolution of the Byakugan.

This seems to be Bolt's unique own Dojutsu. Kind of like how Indra was the first born with the Sharingan, Boruto coming from a line of Hyuuga's, probably means that something new was manifested in his place.

It would be absolute BS if that is Bort's own eye when he fights Kawaki. The scar he has is the exact same one Kakashi got and I don't see how he does not lose the eye from the injury. It is already retcon BS that he has a dojutsu at so a young age when he never used it after but this would be too much.

It was stupid to believe that the situations would be the same in the first place, people were telling you that there is a high chance that the seal itself unlocks the eye. But there's really no context in it yet, however, it does seem to be Boruto's own eye.

I don't get how you can call it a retcon when they never established where the eye came from. It's a new development though. But I'm assuming your mad that Hinata/Himawari won't have to die? lul

I'd rather them not repeat Kakashi/Obito's story line though.

People assumed, just like people are assuming Naruto (and or Sasuke?) somehow died. But I had a hunch feeling that they were not going to rehash it.

If Boruto just started the academy, then he's really young. He's 12 in the Boruto Movie, so he must be 8~10
