Its completely pointless to speculate about Naruto (the series)

Many people and versus threads have been ruined because they are blinded by the love of their favorite characters (fanboys/girls), and make judgement calls based on what they believe their character is capable of.

An example could be:
minato, itachi, or kakashi has a huge advantage due to intelligence, and can beat so-and-so character because of it.

This can become very annoying sometimes. intelligence, while a factor, has its limits. look at shikamaru (and family). while an expert tactician, some fights are just out of his reach, and many people acknowledge that. but some people think about how their characters are somehow invincible due to the power of their minds. like a mobile badass stephen hawking.

How powerful characters really are, but they are not able to show it. (they die)

This can be true, but you cant make this kind of guess, except in the most obvious of circumstances.

The bottom line is, the only time we can have a REAL versus thread is when naruto ends, and we see everything.

Well, anyway. I agree. Level of Intelligence is actually am important factor in battles, but not as much to say "X may be weaker, slower, and less experienced than Y, but because X is smart, he'll figure it out." <-- This can be very annoying at times. Not to mention it's wrong and invalid.

Yeah, my favorite character is an Uchiha. But I don't say Sasuke/Itachi/Madara > So6p
