Exactly there is no indication at all that Itama is Zetsu. The only evidence is the hair, which is easily explained by black Zetsu being Madara's will. Its said in the manga that Zetsu was made from Hashirama's cells, what more do people want? Bringing up other things in the story that had a "twist" isn't going to change the facts. When Zetsu's origin was revealed there was nothing inconspicuous about it and it was a factual flashback.

What? lol. Well I hadn't noticed any threads yet that said "Itama is NOT Zetsu" all I've seen is the theory about him being Zetsu threads so far. Though someone just made this thread again lol
