I said at the beginning that Itachi could have used a regular genjutsu or even
Shisui's eyes to implant that memory on Sasuke. There was one chapter that Sasuke remembered that Itachi was crying (around 400) and that was different from what was written at the beginning of the manga. Kishi always throws something to misguide us. But there is no need to try to convinced me that I am wrong because I dont really thing that is what happened I just tried to write something different waiting for the new chapter.

It is almost guarantied that Itachi killed babies during the massacre: your logic of "its hard to kill your mother" is now negated.

As a personal opinion I still think is harder to kill your own mother , so I dont see how that is negated. I thing people can do all kind of atrocities, but to kill your own mother I still thing that got to be the most difficult . Second, as I said in a replay you dont have to convinced me that what i wrote is wrong since I dont believe it myself and I just decided to write something. But you are welcome to write that you complete disagree and that I am crazy to write such a thing lol.

he went back home after the hospital the tape for their bodies were there

kishi mentioned his mom to show the audience that sasuke lost alot in that night
he luved his mom and itachi killed her

This prediction is base on logic more than anything, but I think is one of many possibilities that could happen.

One of hardest think and more deplorable things to do is to kill your mother, so why did Itachi did this? I think Itachi left Sasuke and his mother alive.

She was either in favor of the destruction of Konoha or was against it.

1. Is she was against the plot to destroy Konoha she may have been the second person that helped destroy the village and not Madara (many characters have lied intentionally or said things that were not true because they were not sure) and Itachi could have said it was Madara so that Sasuke hated him.

2. One thing that could bring Sasuke back is if his mother is still alive, and if she convinced him to change his ways.

3. Itachi's mother appeared in the chapter that the Kyuubi was released from Kushina. One way to look at this is that Naruto and Sasuke were always destined to confront each other, but another look at it could mean that Itachi's mother could play a roll in the future and Kishi mentioned her on purpose.

4. Why has she not appeared all these years? This could put in jeopardy the cover that Itachi was the bad guy and the Uchihas were the victims. Also her life could be in danger


5. Why does Sasuke thinks her mother is dead? The images in Sasuke's memories could be a regular genjutsu or even Shisui's genjutsu.


If Itachi's mother was in favor of the destruction of Konaho that also leads to different plots.

As I said this is one of many things that could happen, but I wrote this base on concept that Itachi could not have come to kill his mother more than anything else.

When itachi is seen after having murdered his PARENTS both the bodies are clearly seen on the floor as Sasuke (a kid) discovers his brother and what he's done. So no, Itachi's mother is dead, killed by him. Also, she mentioned to Sasuke the whole "don't follow your brother" thing, meaning she was probably on the side of her husband and the conspiracy
