itachis truth?

I think he is hiding something but I don't think it would change sasuke's mind much. Madara already revealed that he helped kill the clan with itachi. Not to much he can hide beside that he is the cause of the massacre.

It's possible. Madara strikes me as a liar (Because he has lied before lol), but honestly I doubt it on this part. I think Itachi's truth was indeed the truth. Their may be more too it, but nothing to change the fact that Itachi was good.

I think so. I think he knows/has more dirt on Danzo and the leaf village than most people want to realize. Especially about danzo imo, being in anbu for years, and also having his dojutsu I think gave him and advantage. On collecting and learning about danzos dirty deeds.

I wouldnt be surprised if we find out that itachi didnt actually kill anyone and his main job was to take responsibility for it all. Maybe the uchihas were planning to destroy the hidden leaf and kill everyone but itachi saw the big picture and went against them. Itachi wanted sasuke to hate him so he can get strong and even let sasuke kill him so there is a bigger plan and i think the truth about the killings will tell us more about madara/tobi.

Yeah he didin't. He didn't tell the absolute full story of the Uchiha massacre plus he made it seem as if it was fully the hidden leafs fault when more than likely the 3rd would have solved the crysis peacefully. I just think its stupid that he blames the entire village over what 3 people decided
What's so ironic is that, lets say the massacre never happened, and the coup took place. There is still a really good chance that Sasuke's parents, or at least his father, would have possibly died anyway, along with hundreds of more shinobi and civilians. Sasuke would still be an avenger, and the Uchiha would still eventually be wiped out.

I think you are wrong the Uchiha was strong they had many elite ninjas such as :Shisui Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Fugaku Uchiha ( since he was a leader it means that he was strong) and many others. The Uchiha shouldn't be underestimated cause if they were weak the Village Elders wouldn't order their wipe-out, the Uchiha would have won the war, no doubt about it.
Many equals three? Shisui could mind control- one on one and once in a day ( as Danzou said) = big deal and would have helped a lot.
Besides Shisui was dead within 6 months of Itachi joining Ambu ( Itachi was11) The massacre took place after he was made ambu captain at 13. Shisui was asked to spy on Itachi. I doubt Itachi would have fought along with Uchihas as he was a nationalist and Shisui's eyes were already with Danzou.
Fugaku Uchiha = might have been a fine warrior but don't forget that no Uchiha since Madara was known for extra ordinary talent till Itachi.
Besides rest of Konoha is not build of weak shinobies. Hyuugas, Nara clan, Aburame The third Hokage everyone had talent to compete and answer back.
Madara was lurking in the shadows. whether Uchihas won or lost he would have jumped in to wipe out the remaining ones. And the other villages would also look out for bounty grabbing.
It was a lose lose situation for Itachi. He chose rest of the village over his clan, thus containing the tragedy in smaller group. He knew Madara won't let the clan go easily and sooner or later he would strike both. He let him strike one in exchange of giving more time to the village- hoping that village will be able to gather itself and be ready when Madara makes its final move.
i think that was the truth to itachi but i also think that madara was over emphasizing it to much he must have desperately wanted sasuke beside him otherwise he wouldn't have gone through such measures plus he could have just killed itachi and sasuke if he wanted to
