this thread is dumb every itachi fan boi is gonna be on there he is popular cuz he looks cool and does cool thing on the show whatever but when it comes down to it he aint all that good comparing him to any hokage besides tsunade is blasphemy and comparing him to other villages kages are dumb as well he in some cases he barely reaches top ten there is line of naruto characters waiting to pwn him.....

We have seen itachi fight we know what his abilties are, he showcased basiclly all them against sasuke. But we havent even seen guys like Hasihrama or the 2nd hokage fight. Its goes both ways Even Jiraiya we only saw him fight twice, once against pain and once again when he was posised by tsuande.
1)But we do know hasihrama defeated Madara(EMS) and the mere fact the senju fought the uchiha many times clearly shows he had means to fight and defeat an uchiha. He was labelled as the best in his time, Uchiha Madara said this, what more proof do you need.
Oh by the way Hasihrama did defeat Madara(who uses very strong genjutsu) and the fox.
2) I feel if we get into the jiraiya auguement this thread would go another 60 pages. All that needs to said about this is that jiraiya was trying to train naruto in breaking genjutsu by discrupting your own chakra that does work even on tuksikmo as we saw with bee.We dont need to say anymore than that. leave this guys, nither jiraiya or itachi fanboys will wins this bout. It would have been intresting if nagato used genjutsu to see what Jiraiya reaction is, funny enough he ended up using genjutsu instead.

If people are going to think just becuase you have sharingan that means you win any 1v1 fight, thats just retarded. We have been proven time and time again that the sharingan is beatable, hasihrama being the best example x2.
Genjutsu isnt unbeatable, people need to get this out of your heads.
There's been nothing shown to be unbeatable in the series in general.

Madara revealed his motive to fight, this doesnt change the fact he almost died and hes been weaked to the point he cant even use any of his EMS techs. If anything this only shows Madara planned he would lose and did everything in his power includng the fox under his control to steal hashrama's powers.
Why do you think Madara even brag the fox into this battle if he was gonna lose on purpose? You can do better than this dude.
Another way to look at it is maybe Hasihrama let Madara live. This fight has many myserties.
And beside the point Madara didnt even kill hasohrama with the fox. He waited for him to die most probally before taking action towards his plans.
And another thing, you dont have kill someone to prove your superior as a shinobi. One of most basic things a naruto manga fan should know.

Lol he has Genjutsu that dosent require eye contact. So it would be impossible to dodge it, and once he trap u in one, Your COMPLETLY vulnerable, and he can do whatever he wants to you.
He'll put somebody in a Genjutsu, and they would be fighting illusions, while he just chillin, (like he did on sasuke)
Why would he kill someone 1 from the leaf. Itachi NEVER wanted to kill anybody. The only reason he Came to the village in part 1 was to, Warn Danzou and the elders, that he's Still Alive, And not to harm his younger brother. He never had plans to capture Naruto. Naruto wasent even Itachi's concern. dont bielieve me look it up

Jeez, you Itachi fans know nothing about genjutsu. Genjutsu can be broken one of many ways:
1. Genjutsu does not work on kage bunshin (See how Kakashi made of a fool of Itachi during the shouten fight)
2. Genjutsu can be broken by a partner (a summon or a kage bunshin)
3. Genjutsu can be broken by having a partner attack the caster
4. Genjutsu can be broken by inflicting physical pain to oneself
Well, take all of this together and you see why Itachi would struggle against shodai and Jiraiya. Jiraiya's first move is always kuchiyose no jutsu. In other words, Jiraiya always has a partner who can break him out of genjutsu or simply attack Itachi and cancel it. Alternatively, he could use a kage bunshin and laugh off genjutsu.
We don't know much about shodai but clearly he was able to counter sharingan genjutsu. You Itachi stans tend to ignore what the databook says about Madara. It says anyone who looked into his eyes carelessly was pierced by his mangekyou sharingan = genjutsu. However, since shodai fought him multiple times, it stands to reason that he dealt successfully with genjutsu

In order to actually lose against hashirama,it's obvious that he wasn't using all his strength in the battle.
And I honestly believe that Itachi could one-shot all the first three Hokages simultaneously.
As long as the Hokage are within Itachi's field of view, the Amaterasu will burn spontaneously appear on all three of them. Neither of the Hokage have shown speed feats that are comparable to that of Raikage of Minato, so they are not avoiding Amaterasu
In conclusion, Itachi wins the fight as soon as he opens his eyes.

be serious madara used genjutsu on torune and somebody else on danzo henchman wasn't that genjutsu, look at when tobi brings them out to kabuto to show how they were sacrifice and the one of the reasons they couldn't move was because they were in genjutsu.look bringing the nine tails in a fight means death plus an ems and his genjutsu is great because he can control people for days.have not seen hte first and second speed and reaction time it's insanely fast.the second has space time ninjutsu he can escape, wood release is good enough there both master of their elements.they both can react on genjutsu the 1st has genjutsu and the third also can battle genjutsu.

That was Tobi/Madara. Tobi/Madara still uses genjutsu. He did so against Konan. He did not use genjutsu against Minato because he could not. Minato is too fast. Sasuke did not use genjutsu against Raikage does that mean he does not have it? Let's see, he used genjutsu against Sai, Orochimaru, Deidara, Itachi, Kirabi, Shii and Danzou. Yet, he could not use it against Raikage. Get a clue bro

2. Shodai has regenerative powers (shown by Madara and Zetsu). He laughs off amaterasu
3. Nidaime has space-time ninjutsu. He laughs off amaterasu
4. Minato has space-time ninjutsu. He laughs off amaterasu
5. Tsunade has sozo sassei. She laughs off amaterasu

I agree Itachi is strong so Itachi vs Minato Itachi's tsukuyomi ends in 1 sec FTG i think ends in 1 sec too so who atack's first(wins),1st hokage vs Itachi(sounds funny) hashirama was able to beat madara EMS + kyuubi so how Itachi with MS would be able to beat Hashirama someone tell me ??

I think Itachi doesn't need genjutsu to win a fight. That is just one weapon. He has all his MS powers, normal abilities (fire element, etc), but he holds something which I think is most important. He has the ability of careful, detailed planning. He plans his moves perfectly. We see this everytime he fights. Even in the fight he knows he will die, he plans everything accordingly (even the activation of Amateratsu when Sasuke sees Madara for the first time). His ability is far superior to any of the characters, from which fights are more straight on, and discerning what to do based on what happened exactly before. In my humble opinion, Itachi could've been hokage if things would've gone differently. He is the maximum protector of konoha (alongside Naruto).
jiraya probably is not good enough to beat tsukiyomi but i think hahsirama is, he beat madara with ems and nine tails. And if you remember that madara can control ninetails the only uchiha who can, so it is obvious he is good at genjutsu since he can control a TB so i don't see why he can't use good genjutsu in battle and hashirama still beat him , so its likely he has a defense for genjutsu

Itachis taijutsu was good, but cannot be compared with the kages. The fourth/Minato was and is the quickest in Naruto from my knowledge so far(Naruto dodged Raikages move which made it nostalgic for him remembering the 4th, so naruto could be as quick now.... "Could" doubt it), Hes a man who played a big part in ending a ninja war. It is unknown how quick Itachis finger-pointing genjutsu technique travels, Just like his amaterasu propably (Avoidable). Quoted from the episodes itself when Sasuke was fighting danzo Madara said "Itachis genjutsu is a far cry from sasukes." So I think sasuke with his mangekyou now would propably take itachi... unless everyone like staying on the itachi subject.
