By the way for those of u who said that itachi told kisame that he is going to get max. tie if he fought against jiraiya well thats partly true. However he could hv said that because kisame was clearly underestimating jirayias power and he doesnt want anyone in his village he is trying to save get killed. makes sense?

dude seriously hv u watched the episode where at the start of their match itachi moved so fast or teleported in front of sasuke without him even noticing and kicked him on the wall well he could of continued on this speed the whole match but his aim was never to kill sasuke.

yea but most of their match was genjutsu.

Yeh, Genius wise he is in a different league of hs own. A league behind Minato's league

very funny. Dude minato's genius is nothing compared to itachis. Everything itachi did till now was for a reason and he anticipates wats gonna happen which always happens. Besides, itachi has graduated at a younger age than minato and became anbu captian at 13. so like i said no comparison.

yea but most of their match was genjutsu.

Dude the first minute was genjutsu the rest was pure ninjutsu. Besides itachi could hv powned sasuke in 3 scenes. the first when using tsucyomi and laying back his hands waiting for sasuke to do something. The second when using fire connection then amaterasu to win the connection then when he saw it was going for sasuke who froze in his place they showed that he deliberatly closed his eye. Last part when he could hv slashed him with susanoo

he's on sasuke level of speed.But he's not on kyubi level and there intent isn't to kill because they can't kill them they must seal them or immobolize like bee was trying to due the samehada is not that fast on striking shown occasionally it's has some weight.

Dude itachi is faster than sasuke to a considerable amount he is pretty qick and has good reflexes but is not near A's or naruto's speed. And sasuke himself is pretty fast( faster than regular naruto, pain and many ninja) It is said in the databook he is faster and what we have seen him against and bee he also seems pretty quick

You are right he was going easy on sasuke and yea he let him go on 3 occasions cos that was part of his plan which was to lose to sasuke.

yeah since they shared the same blood, sasuke was able to overcome the tsukiyomi, Or your Doujutsu has to be on a higher level than itachi's in order to break free. But since he masterd his Sharingan at 13, i doubt theres a Genjutsu stronger than his, except Shishui's

the reason for that is Itachi was release from a very good genjutsu that he entrusted to naruto it wasn't meant to be casted on Itachi.Itachi is good but he can't beat the kages before him beside tsunade.

Yeah, and Sasuke couldnt keep up with itachi phisically, in Speed OR strength, itachi couldve beaten him to death if he wanted.

Although i like minato and i admit he is faster but not much faster than itachi he is a close range ninja and itachi is a long range one. so i believe tht long range counters short range and tsukyomi done with his fingers if minato avoids itachis eyes he is still gonna fall for it. Although thats debatable. However itachi has 3 one hit ko techniques which i dont hv to mention as thryre mentioned enough already, while minato has one ehich has the power equal to that of Itachis susanoo in terms of sealing but weaker as the user has to die right after using it. thats another reason why i believe itachi might win not neglegting minatos speed though. its gonna be a tough match but itachi wins.
