LMFAO i was talking about when OROCHIMARU WAS IN THE AKATSUKI AND HE TRIED TO TAKE ITACHI'S EYES YOU IDIOT, HE WAS BEHIND ITACHI.

And like someone said, OF COURSE itachi was gonna follow some orders to make it seem like he's loyal to them, if he didnt that wouldve made everyone in the akatsuki suspicious that he's not listening, And it wouldve been a fight, and as you know, itachi always try to avoid unnecessary fights.

The databook indicated that Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage that Konoha ever had as well as the strongest of all the five Kage during his era(considering Minato as well since Hiruzen lived longer).The Hiruzen vs Hashirama and Tobirama fight is just an incidental.
I don't know why people seemed to choose not to argue that facts,trying to put Hashirama and Minato above thatlevel.

Ninjutsu

Both Hiruzen and Itachi were given 5 in Ninjutsu.They're averagely good at it.The others' take this as well for mastering it excellently.
However,Itachi by hype is the best for having Amaterasu as the highest-ranked ninjutsu.

Taijutsu

Despite at his old age,Hiruzen held on his own against two Hokages and for that,was given 5 in Taijutsu.In addition,Enma commented that Hiruzen could've done better in his prime state.

Sasuke mastered Sharingan well (into the point where he can dodge Raikage's V2 Raiton Armor speed.)

That Almighyt push he did injure weak ninja, . Kakashi was actually doin good against him alone, he even managed to sneak up on him, and wrap him in Chains, he didnt even kill kakashi. But when itachi fought kakashi, Kakashi couldnt even get that close or even touch itachi, even when he had backup (Asuma & Kurenai).

He mainly just destroyed the village and a couple weak ninja, Konohamuru, Choji, Iruka, if itachi wanted to he couldve easily killed them.

You dont think itachi couldnt have shown Konoha who's boss..? ^_-

The pain he used that was his strongest one,

Ok pain can use a jutsu that causes mass area damage, but that has nothing against a 1 on 1, that cant even damage Susano'o . no one will even give him time to do that, you saw how long it took. Most of konoha ninja are weak anyway, execpt the main characters.
And if kakashi can find out theres a 5 sec interval, with his weak sharingan, It will be childs play for itachi, since he's one of the smartest ppl on naruto.

That reviving jutsu he did basically killed him. So you think itachi cant damage Konoha with Susano'o And Amaterasu.
He would basically walk through Konoha, complety protected, while burning down everything in sight,lol
