Susano'o >Death Reaper Seal by effectiveness.

I said it once,and I would say it again.Madara indicated that he lost to Hashirama to 'gain access of his abilities'/simply put he wasn't fighting seriously back then.Hashirama tamed Kyuubi with Mokuton.Itachi could've done the same with genjutsu.Itachi>Hashirama by feats.

I also find that Itachi's taijutsu bested all previous hokages'.

even if madara said that, he wouldn't fight in such a way that he couldn't recover from 1st's fight even after 80 years, and also, the first hokage and the fourth hokage are better than itachi

I don't think Itachi would need to go that far using Susano'o .
Just put him in Tsukuyomi.

It's funny that Gai is the only one who can fight Itachi (Expect Sasuke), because Gai can read Itachi's movement by watching his feet so he won't caught in Tsukiyomi. But yeah, I believe that Itachi could defeat all of them.

well minato is very fast itachi got tsukuyomi for 1 sec everything ens and that does FTG too so idk......

He fought mostly to obtain Izanagi.of course that would've taken quite a toll.

Probably Gai was just lying to show how badass he is in front of Kakashi,by battling against someone like Itachi.

itachi is stronger than hashirama,madara,4rth hokage he has the strongest susanoo,strongest tsukyomi,and other techniques Koto Amatsukami,he could have get the EMS with shisuis eye but decided to give it to naruto and his eyes to sasuke,narutos speed is equal to minatos now and itachi could handle easily naruto.

only problem was that he lost more and more of his sight every time he used his MS.
only way for him to stay the strongest would have been to kill sasuke and take his eyes as soon as he awakened the MS

but I do think he can be beaten by some of the hokages

(Knowing that he's losing his sight) He'll end the fight even quicker,Showing No mercy

But since he mastered the MS at 13 he went 8 years through Continouous use of the Mangekyou Sharingan, As for sasuke went at most 12 days before he was going blind, so he got itachi's transplanted.

I think he might beat tsunade (unless tsunade uses that secret medical nin mark on her head), but i think saying hes stronger than the previous hokages when we havent seen 10% of any of the previous hokages power at all in the manga (except for 3rd hokage but he was old).

Is a Major stretch till weve seen it can we say for a fact...we can only assume...Remember to be a Kage you have to be FAR beyond unimagingly, unmeasurably, Overpoweredly powerful. (as proven by feats of previous kages, and we haven't even seen 10% of all previous kages power..just imagine, if there that badass at 10%, imagine 20% O.O O.O)..
