today i am going to tell everyone how powerful is itachi with some solid arguments, i am not bashing any character. trust me its worth reading.

itachi and nagato

Nagato has more destructive power, but if he was to fight Itachi, he'd lose.
Ninjutsu don't work on him thanks to his ability to absorb chakra, and he's fairly safe from taijutsu due to having no blind spots, but he has no protection against genjutsu.The six bodies and his summons having a linked field of vision mean that you need to cast a genjutsu on only one of them to trap them all.
That makes Itachi - arguably the best genjutsu user in the whole series - the worst possible match for him.
His strongest attacks (Shinra Tensei/Bansho Ten'in and Chibaku Tensei) wouldn't work because Susanoo anchors its user to the ground so he can;t be pulled/pushed around.
As Kabuto stated, Nagato isn't very mobile, which leaves him quite vulnerable to being sealed away by the Sword of Totsuka.Other than that, Itachi has Tsukuyomi, Kotoamatsukami (if they're fighting before him talking with Naruto) and Izanami.

The 4th got no experience with tsukuyomi, and differently no experience facing itachi's genjutsu. And itachi could beat tobi, he almost killed him with out even being there by sealing his eye tech. in sasukes sharingan.. itachi's will save him this fight bc hes fast enough to dodge close range attacks by the 4th that his sharingan will be showing him..

Even in his youth, Itachi could perfectly hit an intricate set of nine targets, one of which was hidden in a blind-spot, by accurately deflecting one kunai off another to ensure they struck mark. During his fight with the controlledNagato, he was able to blind Nagato's summons despite the shared field of vision granted by theRinnegan.Itachi was also very skilled with shuriken, with Sasuke stating that Itachi was best with such tools, even more so than their own father. During their fight at the Uchiha Hideout, Itachi was able to counter every one of Sasuke's shuriken with his own whilst simultaneously making ashadow clone, all despite his extremely deteriorated vision.
Itachi is very powerful in genjutsu.

Genjutsu​

Itachi was especially praised for his skills in genjutsu, such as casting one by merely pointing at someone or turning opponents' genjutsu against them.According to Ao, he could even use his genjutsu to take control of other individuals from a long distance. With the Sharingan, Itachi reached the point where he could even make use of one of the Uchiha clan's ultimate dōjutsu, Izanami, and had knowledge of its counterpart, Izanagi.
Itachi is very smart..

Intellect​

Itachi has been shown to be analytical and perceptive, being able to deduce the inner workings and weaknesses of powerful techniques, even while under pressure. He orchestrated his battle against Sasuke to bring about his desired outcomes, and even account for the possibility that his plan wouldn't go as intended by sealing his powerinto Sasuke and placing a special crow inside of Naruto Uzumaki. Even Tobi himself admitted that if he hadn't kept a few secrets from Itachi he would be dead.
On top of his perceptive skills, Kabuto also noted that Itachi possessed skill in deception due to Itachi's ability to read people's feelings, and this made him a ninja of lies up until his death.
Itachi is winning this, if anything.. hes prolly one of the most powerful ninjas in the naruverse.. id even say hes above most of the kage, sasuke fought 4 or 5 all at the same time in a weakened state, so yeah..


conclusion:
itachi is >>nagato>>minato so now fanboys go away.

Izanami is only effective against those who lack self identity. Therefore it does't effect Minato. Secondly, thats assuming Itachi is able to activate Susano'o. And if that is the case, he summons Gamabunta, Food Cart Destroyer Technique to restrain it. Totsuka Blade can't even touch Minato because of his speed, and Yata Mirror is exactly that, it's not a barrier.

Yes Itachi is that good. Now, what if one of us here gave something like this for Nagato and Minato? The thing here is that you're underestimating them both. Nagato is more blessed than Itachi since he's an Uzumaki with the strongest Doujutsu in the whole Narutoverse while Minato is a very highly skilled ninja who had to start from scratch and I don't think any of them would just LOSE to Itachi just like that.

As for Nagato vs Itachi, the moment you said Susanoo anchors the user to the ground, lol that was funny cuz uhh

yeah so, I don't think Itachi could survive something like that without Naruto and B's help.

As for Minato vs Itachi, well I agree that Minato has NOT shown us sufficient ninjutsu that has the potential of breaking through Susanoo BUT remember, Minato has a WHOLE ARSENAL of sealing techs that maybe in ONE touch, the opponent would not be able to mold chakra anymore. Simple as that. We don't know Minato's limits but Itachi's, well we most probably have a grasp of what he can do at best. And also, I'm pretty sure susanoo cannot protect Itachi from the RDS.

First of all, were the hell did U ever think that Itachi could beat Tobi? You don't beat somebody with the words 'almost'.
Now I don't say he would insta die against Tobi not at all! He would have a fairly good chance. But if you say that you
will prove to us why Itachi is so powerful with solid arguments. I'd have to concur, cause you OBVIOUSLY have another
view on the word 'solid' argument' then me.
Second of all it is clearly stated in the manga/anime that:

Hereby we can conclude that, it doesn't matter wether you can predict movement or not, as from the point that your body
cant keep up another with the movements this ability is rendered completely useless against an opponent like Minato.
Even the Raikage stated that Minato was faster then him...

I am not an Itachi hater character, NOT AT ALL
I actually see him as one of my favorites too, for he truly knows the meaning of a shinobi's life.
But next time you wanna 'prove' Itachi is the best and you have 'solid arguments' to support it.

It all depends on who's using it. In this thread's case, it's Itachi and I'm pretty sure Nagato's Rinnegan is more powerful than Itachi's Sharingan but that doesn't mean Itachi will FOR SURE, lose to Nagato just because he has the Rinnegan. It all depends on how they use their techniques and who gets who first.
