SO,i think that itachi has made a mistake.He is leaving everything up to naruto regarding sasuke and himself he hasn't said a word about the fact that he wants sasuke to abandon his plan regarding konoha.i mean,isn't it kind of infuriating?why can't he say anything meaningful to sasuke in clear language?what do you guys think?

I think the reason why is because he actually wants sasuke to choose his own path or that he wants him to figure this out by himself...
another reason Im also thinking about is because he was too occupied with fighting Kabuto and that defeating kabuto was a greater priority for him than telling sasuke to stop his hatred towards the village

itachi has done the right thing. he wants sasuke to choose the right path by himself not by force.Still he tried to convince sasuke indirectly during the fight but he didnot listen and kept saying that he will destroy konoha. besides this anime is called naruto not itachi. if itachi convinced sasuke and he became good then what will naruto do?

Itachi has openly admitted his main mistakes to naruto, kabuto and sasuke. Main mistake was only trusting himself and his own power.

Once becoming an edo, i don't think he really wants to do anything except defeat kabuto.

I believe Itachi accepted that he errored in his ways while alive, and wants to rely on others (his weakness while living) instead of being given a "second chance" by the edo.

Because Sasuke clearly stated, again, he is still going to destroy the village. What can Itachi possibly say now to change his mind? Why bother? Brotherly love won't do anything for Sasuke now even if Itachi got on his knees & begged.
