has itachi ever used the yata mirror in a fight i remember he used the sword to seal orochimaru but i can't remember him using the mirror...:shrug:

did he use it against saskue?

Yeah Sasuke tried to attack Itachi and the mirror repelled his Kusanagi.

It was never shown but most likely. I don't think Susanoo itself could repel that.
