Itachi's Mangekyu Sharingen

it is said throughtout naruto series that mangekyu sharingen can be activated by killing some1 dearest to u...just lyk sasuke did by itachi's death...but i have a question if sasuke was the closest person to itachi..how itachi awakened his mangekyu by killing uchiha shisui...isnt it a blunder by kishi???

It is said that, when you kill your closest friend, you obtain the Mangekyu Sharingan. In order to obtain Eternal Mangekyu Sharingan, you have to kill your near relatives (like brothers) and take their eyes.

When sasuke and itachi fought. (remember when at the end itachi touched sasukes head) At that moment itachi put the mangekyo in sasuke.

now in order to obtain EMS you need the eyes of another who has the mangekyo sharingan. I dont know if you pay attention to the manga but sasuke has taken itachi's eyes and sasuke now has the EMS (they just havent reveled how his eyes look yet)

hey it was just said that itachi implanted the amaterasu in sasuke...it was just on shot attack..sasuke's real mangekyu activated after he came to know abt itachi's death..i have read manga 4-5 times and watched anime abt 15 times..i m crazy man...just look when he performs amaterasu on madara his eyes r lyk itachi but sasuke's real mangekyu is different from it..itachi just implanted his amaterasu for a single shot on madara...

It has been said that sasuke eyes took the form of itachi's and would later develope its own look. but in conclusion sasuke now has EMS and all we have to do is wait to see what it looks like.

I'm sure someone already said it but you have to kill your best friend. Sasuke even said it to naruto. Kakashi must have gotten his MS because he felt responsable for obito's death

you are getting it all wrong

A.When Itachi died he implanted an amaterasu in sasuke(when he touched his forehead in the end),so that whenever he sees another sharingan...amaterasu will burn whoever has the sharingan..he didnt 'implant' his eyes.

B.Now when sasuke realised he was not as strong as naruto and also he was loosing his vision he asked madara too implant itachi's eyes in him so that he can gain the EMS.

Ok first, itachi only transferred amaterasu to sasuke for safety purpose, N0T his ms.. Apart from killing your closest friend, Mangekyou sharingan can also be self-activated.... Sasuke awakened his MS just after he knew the truth about itachi, due to his hatred and the desire to avenge the death of his brother, he activated his MS... Now how did he obtain EMS? He transplanted itachi's eye into his... So MS(itachi) + MS(sasuke) = Eternal mangekyou sharingan... Thats how he obtain it.. Dig that??

Listen 2 this: sasuke has itachi's eyes right? and itachi knew sasuke was going 2 kill him so he probably knew eventually that sasuke would take his eyes after he died. and at the same time he gave naruto a power that would help him stop sasuke if he ever attacked konoha but we still dont know wat that power is so wen sasuke uses itachis eyes on naruto im guessing that mysterious power will be shown then. But yea, he probably planned for some jutsu to activate when Sasuke goes up against Naruto.
