itachi's mangekyo sharingan design

hello everybody i just got this question about itachi's eye from the begining of the anime we saw that itachi's eyes are like this

and as a right now we see itachi's eye like this

so my question is why did kishi change the eye design?

Maybe he exceeded The level, i mean he was a prodigy of the Sharingan. Or kishi just changed it

probably happens when he stresses his eyes too much ex. when he uses amateratsu....

the pictured are two diffrent sides of his face.
His right eye is Amaterasu
Left Tsukiyomi.

Your first pic is his right eye, so i think that was the time he used Amaterasu to burn Toad mouth trap

It's showing how his MS is fading away. Notice that Sasuke's was almost all black when he first got them, now there's nothing.

well i dont know if you remember but the first time the we saw the rinegan was also diferent from what it is now so that could be it maybe kishi also change itachi's

I think its because hes getting blind so the blackness is getting bigger filling the eye until blind.

Most likely just a change in design by Kishimoto and animators.Just as with the Rinnegan´s first appearance. I like the earlier version better however.
