[Predictions] Itachi's gift to Naruto

What hasn't been revealed yet in the manga is, What did Itachi give Naruto as a parting gift?


1. Itachi gave Naruto a deterrent of the Mangekyo sharingan.(most likley Amaterasu)

2. He gave him a certian power of control against the nine tail beast.(since the crow went into his mouth, were the key is also and the Mangekyo Sharingan is said to control the Nine tails)

3. Itachi gave him the knowledge of the Sharingan and made it possible to counteract the sharigan through the control of the nine tails.

I hope Masashi Kishimoto soon reveals what Itachi gave Naruto, because it is just irking me.

The manga havent revealed yet and many rumours spreading around.
But I predict what he gave is what u said so that naruto able to control the nine-tailed fox But i dun tink Itachi may give Naruto some kind of Sharingan power like the ameterasu. Beside Sharingan power is a kekei-genkai and in order to pass it to someone u nid to using some kind of technique like ninjutsu. But in this case i dun tink so that itachi gave him amerterasu..HAHA but tat is only my prediction. Masashi shuld know all behind this. Hahaha I also cant wait for it

Itachi gift was way back before Naruto became a Sage and even farther back than the scrolled. Remember Itachi words to Naruto. What will you do if Sasuke attacks the village? And Itachi told Naruto that He hope Naruto did not need to use it against Sasuke.

I've said it in other threads... My thoughts on the power...

Itachi gave him his life force...
Knowing that Naruto would do everything possible to save Sasuke... Even killing or dying to do so...
Itachi was Extremely intelligent, and foresaw many things. So IMO Itachi gave Naruto his Life force in the event that one should perish, so that one of them may be revived... like Chiho(?) did for Garra.

Supporting evidence:

1) Itachi's words... "I hope that you will never have to use this"
He doesn't want his brother to die.. and probably wouldn't want the only one that Would save him to die either...

2) It was right after that, that Itachi became sick... (a surprise to zetsu and the other Akatsuki members) Some have argued a disease, some overuse of the MS.. I feel that it was the fact He basically gave up his life for the future events.. Like in his fight with Sasuke .. He could have won, but he wanted his brother to live and essentially gave him his own MS (by dying in front of him)..

So I feel that in one of the final battles Sasuke will probably die, and Naruto will be able to save him as Itachi wanted.. Or if Naruto dies, this power would activate to bring Naruto back.

I had also thought it might be the Spirit sword he used on Oro, and WHEN he died its powers transferred to Naruto to be used later.. but this doesn't seem likely.

It being a defense against the Sharingan doesn't fit for me.. why would he say "I hope you don't have to use this" if it was a defense?

Power to control the beast? I don't think so.. once again.. "I hope you don't have to use this" doesn't fit that scenario...

And I dont think that it has anything to do with his life force, its deffinetly sth that will help Naruto to counter Sasuke with EMS. I think Itachi had known that Sasuke will take his eyes to obtain power, which would make him virtually invincible, as there is no one that could fight him.

amaterasu and susanoo will kill sasuke and tsukuyomi will crush sasuke's mind so itachi wouldnt give that to naruto. i think Itachi gave naruto a part of his own chakra to help naruto in his battle against sasuke, some power to take over sasuke's EMS

lets not forget that we are talking about Naruto here....ok, he controls the Kyuubi that protects him against the Tsukiyomi, he has sage mode to try and evade amaterasu and susanoo, BUT!
Dont forget that it is Hashirama who fought and defeated Madara while having EMS, its kinda difficult to compare Naruto with Hashirama, dont u think? And plus, we havent seen EMS in a fight yet, so we cant say what a user having it is capeble of, so how can ya tell? I bet that Itachi knew that, thats why he gave naruto a part of his power to counter the new attacks of the EMS. Think about it.

itachi gave to naruto an anti-amateratsu jutsu like the one that madara used to surpass the amataretsu flames that sasuke used with his brothers MS......i support this theory very much cause probably itachi knew that sasuke will want to destroy konoh and naruto to protect it....so he gave naruto this ''gift'' to help him prevent sasuke from destroy itachi's favourite village....
