If its true then kishi planned it since chapter 11, if this is all coincidence, wow...massive coincidences...so its probably true, if its not, amazing coincidences, but its a nice reminder of how huge coincidences can be.

this is a rele good theroy. i like the idea of naruto getting a sword but i doubt it will happen..
i think itachi's gift is probaly 2 block susanoo..
ok this is off topic but everyone is sayin how ameratsu is "unblockable" but correct me if im wrong sasuke and madara did put the flames out.. who knows mabye something will happen and naruto will put the flames out on his own..

I think it's worth to note that Sasuke's kusenagi sword is completely straight. If it builds up to a final battle and Naruto has to use this "power" that Itachi gave him to counter Sasuke, then the contrast between a straight and an arced blade with the latter being the countering factor makes perfect sense.
Y'all might still be overthinking things though.. even tho Kishi has proven to draw quite some things out of old history the symbolic might not go that deep.

Yes, his thought process is right now target... but that "little crow" ... is Sasuke...
NOT some gift Itachi gave to Naruto...
The theory is historically accurate, but the person is directing the theory in the wrong direction...
Use all that "theory" knowledge and point it at Sasuke directly,.... and it makes 1000% more sense....

I read the other theory and that one sounds better, i mean naruto has learned alot of new techniques and if he gets a sword then the manga will be much longer because as we all know he isnt the most graceful of ninja and a sword would be very new to him and off again he goes to train (with the 8Tails possibly) whatever. The 3 legged Crow theory to me seems best and if its some technique that will stop ameterasu then it makes more sense, maybe naruto wont have to do anything maybe it'll just activate on reaction like with Sasuke burning Madara/Tobi, because if thats how itachi planted it thats how it will work. All in all both theorys are great but i like the crow better.:naruto::sasuke:

naruto showed us that he knows how to manage a sword, when he defended sakura with sai's sword...
it's ectually could make sense if it only was the same sword but the swords looks very different. : / put a clue to the end of the series in the first volumes does sound like something that kishimoto san would do, but it just don't looks like it gonna happen.

Ive been wondering about this forever. Almost every elite Shinobi has a weapon of choice and we still have yet to see Naruto's weapon.
