Itachi's genjutsu can hit skilled ninja's who knows how to break gen and still prevent them from escaping. he also has tsukuyomi with time manipulation. this enables him to mind destroy opponents ASAP before the victim even has the time to counter it.

Enables him to basically warp them out of the fight and possibly kill them. ending the battle. GG no durability can tank it except for rare situations.

These are two totally different techniques, used for totally different situations, they are not even the same classification of ninja arts, so they can't really be compared on effectiveness. They are both very lethal when used appropriately for each situation, and I doubt Obito would be able to escape Tsukiyomi, but that does not knock from his Kamui.

Hell yeah Tsukiyomi is OP. But did you see all that Kakashi did with Kamui? Now imagine how insane DMS Obito, Kamui's owner, would be with his left eye.
Instant Kamui snipe = TERRIFYING on a whole other level

Kakashi could've ended the freakin' war with Kamui snipe when he attempted to decapitate the Gedo Mazo. If Tobi didn't intervene, the war would've been over just like that

4. both are their primary usage feat
5. both can solo regardless of opponent's durability

I would lean toward tsukuyomi if it affected everyone

which makes me wonder, if kamui requires to lock on to the opponent. in this case itachi. would that not give itachi the advantage? itachi is like the last person anyone should have to focus their eyes on. and in this case it happens to be the requirement of kamui. and remember, itachi can cast gen without locking eyes on each other. so again. which is better? kamui or itachi's genjutsu?

I think I will take Itachi's gen the reason being that Tsukuyomi hits in an instant from anywhere. The DMS snipe while it does speed up the process of warping, it can get hit by this special Tsukuyomi.

Itachi's gen would be faster than the TSB which failed to hit Obito and Kakashi.
