ok so if itachi were to put saskues eyes in would he get stronger or weaker? And for that matter when izuna gave madara his eyes why didn't madara give him his eyes that way they would have both gotten ems. or at least i think that's what would have happened.

so before their eyes go blind they took their brothers eyes to save their own

madara takes izunas eyes and gets the ems with both eyes, so i'm guessing they become one.

i think if you take someone eyes they become one

like madara and izuna ms

samething happen with itachi and sasuke, the patterns in their sharingans become one. so i'm guessing both eyes combine for one pair of eyes

Sasuke's eyes were blind, Itachi's werent (even though they deteriorated a little).
Same with Madara and his brother (only his brother was on his death bed).

If Itachi were still alive and they switched eyes, Itachi would be 99% blind with Sasuke's eyes. When they're transplanted they're not brought back to 100% health. That's why Madara took his brothers eyes (forcibly or not) from his deathbed--he wasn't going to use them.

Your solution is not yet proven to be effective...but madaras experience is proven..so they chose to follow madaras way of obtaining EMS

the only way that would work is if they gave only one eye, and in doing so have only one eye/ems...as stated before when given/taken/transplanted the two eyes merge into one (maybe just putting the lens over the other)
