Itachi would kill Kabuto

Making this thread due to people always downplaying Itachi..

Itachi held back Totsuka blade and Yata mirror on top of Amaterasu in that fight. You can't sit here and say Itachi would lose to kabuto simply because kabuto killed him 3 times. Itachi was an EDO so he knew he couldn't die.

For the people that say Itachi died 3 times in that fight so that means Kabuto could kill him. Answer this question for me..

Can Tsunade kill Madara as non edo since she killed him once as edo?

Can Lee kill Madara as non edo since he killed him once as edo?


If your answers are no to the questions above then stop bsing Itachi and admit that he solos Kabuto.

nope was completely plausible that the #1 Genjutsu user in the series would have a fail safe genjutsu in the event Eye contact or crow clone genjutsu did not work

This is apparent imho....Itachi already defeated him. He "died" twice because of Sasuke....also...it shows how sloppy Kabuto is imho. As he was so inept that he had forgotten that physical attacks wouldn't kill Itachi. While Itachi always remembered. On top of that Itachi was fighting at a extreme handicap.

He couldn't kill, had to teach Sasuke, protect Sasuke, remind Sasuke not to kill, and direct Sasuke. Imho Itachi>>>>>>>>>>Kabuto. Besides he's already beaten him...Itachi did 85-90% of the work imho.

Which obviously was itachi uchiha & most of the time he lets no one survive his 1 on 1 battles...

This fight could have gone either way. Both were fighting to capture not kill. You are forgetting that it was Kabuto who brought Itachi back in the 1st place. If Kabuto wanted Itachi gone.......

......He could have simply undid the Edo tensei on him and that would have been the end of Itachi right there.

True but Kabuto is also a Sage. Sages don't go down so easily. Besides Kabuto's intelligence is on par with Itachi if not higher. If the intent to kill was their goal it wouldn't play out as it did.

That's assuming Kabuto would use the same strategy to fight Itachi if it was an intent to kill. Amateratsu doesn't work on Kabuto as he can move the ground to bury and evade it. He can cancel out Susanoo with his sound jutsu so Yata Mirror and Blade isn't going to be an issue for him.

I'm not saying Itachi couldn't win this fight, but it isn't a sure thing that he would win either.

I never understood why people on this site took Itachi for a god. He has only mangekyou sharingan and his totsuka and yata might have a counter. Every weapon has a weakness and unless a counter was necessary, it would have been added to the plot by masashi kishimoto. Just because you can't imagine doesn't mean Kabuto has no counter. He was confident after gathering data on itachi and sasuke and was not afraid at confronting them both.

Anyway, if Madara was alive, Rock Lee would have killed him. Why?

It's simple. Rock lee's speed can match the sharingan and along with that hyper boost from naruto's chakra cloak, his speed increases drastically and he destroyed Madara.
