Itachi without Sharingan vs Neji (only Taijutsu)

Any chakra release and control is regarded as ninjutsu, what neji has is nintaijutsu. I guess chidori nagashi isnt ninjutsu if sasuke spins, or any other chakra release.
Lee has speed of 5 and w/o gates he hasnt displayed anything above itachi, so stop your BS.

But do you even realize your speculations? A neji beaten lee w/o gates while some training is a proof of him beating itachi? LOL?

chidori nagashi is a ninjutsu variant :|,you comparison is wrong and awful.
@bold wrong lee releases chakra to perform his taijutsu and he cant do ninjutsu hirouda is strictly taijutsu no nintaijutsu.
and lee has speed feats in is base form show me itachis speed feats? right you cant your referring to databook stats.
OP said a fight between neji and itachi with TAIJUTSU only what part of that cant you understand?

Sharingan made itachi excellent in taijutsu and all but base is enough for neji.

I agree but its the same for Itachi which is why all Sharingan users are great taijutsu users as with Hyuuga's but if you cripple Itachi's eyes you have to do the same with Neji and see who is better. IMO without their amazing eyes Itachi wins because Neji can for the most part can only use gentle fist to hurt others Itachi can still hurt people without his Sharingan.

Sasuke was great in taijutsu in part one before he got his Sharingan, he bested Naruto, those 2 ninjas who attacked them on their first real mission, and on Haku who he bested before Haku used his ice jutsu. Uchiha's taijutsu is not based on the sharingan since most of them don't even awake it and it they do then it's when they're older. Itachi graduated from the academy at 7, got his Sharingan at 8.

Go in Chunin exam arc to when Lee is fighting Gaara, he flashback to him fighting Neji and losing. They fought many times with Lee losing, Neji was Lee's rival remember?

. Not really, you release and control chakra for genjutsu as well and for taijutsu as the Hyuuga's have proven. Lee, a Taijutsu specialist called the Gentle Fist taijutsu. Sasuke uses nature transformation and shape manipulation for chidori and it's variations. Neji was the only one to get promoted to Jounin while Lee, with his gates was still chunin even though Lee shown to be knowledgeable and strong.

The databook (and the Wiki page) proves Itachi is much better than Neji at Taijutsu. Not only that, but the manga has proven it numerous times, while Neji hasn't really done anything (except get owned by an amateur Naruto who didn't have any jutsus and didn't know Taijutsu at all).

and are the databooks taken of their overall stats at their best? Cause if it is then you have to lower Itachi's stats since he wouldn't have the Sharingan's predictive abilities to read, counter and evade moves. Also the Byakugan has better insight than the Sharingan as Kakashi stated

So you're basing your decision on Sasuke copying part 1 Lee's taijutsu when Lee in Shippuden is much stronger? That's like me saying Lee beat Sasuke in part 1 so he beats Sasuke in Shippuden. Sasuke only copied Lee's taijutsu and Kakashi helped him get the same speed as Lee without the leg weights. So you think Sasuke was using chunin level taijutsu or his more refined jounin level taijutsu? Lee is a specialist so he would be even better in shippuden now

That was genin Lee, they were all on the same team which is what happens when you graduate from the academy, Lee's team all graduated a year before Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. Was kidomaru fighting in only Taijutsu? No, he was using lots of ninjutsus. Bee pushed Itachi back when he grabbed him with his tentacle and Itachi turned into crows, he didn't keep up with fighting in Taijutsu did he? Naruto was in intense training without rest before going into the war and split his power to 1/13th when he made 12 clones before meeting up with Itachi and Nagato so a non-full power Itachi (since edos aren't at full power but is made up by him not feeling his disease, low stamina or MS side effects) VS a 1/13th power Naruto who was training prior to the fight. You call that even?

Neji can literally 1 hit people by aiming for their hearts. When he does his 64 palms, his opponents are stunt as he hits them as shown when he uses it, he can hit your chakra points as you attack him without you realizing it. Can use rotation to repel you from him, can use air palms to blast you away and yes all of that is taijutsu, Lee called the Hyuuga's taijutsu style Konoha's strongest for a reason.
