as wrong as it seems, Zabuza can win w/ the intel & distance, yes.

Zabuza is a decent counter, but its more of a toss up.
Still, U have to give him the advantage if U assume he can use his other jutsu inside the mist.
Itachi cant counter water prison, 4 example.

Even without the Mangekyo Sharingan, Itachi is nothing less than Sannin level, as even a Sannin himself admitted inferiority to the skills and talent of this prodigy. The very idea of someone of Zabuza's level beating him with, in this league, average skills, is ridiculous.

Except Kakashi is the one who managed to feint Itachi with KB twice, so why would we give such a scenario to Itachi when it's always the contrary that happens? It simply means Itachi can't feint Kakashi.

This superficial thinking is expected from you. You measure Itachi's skills by what his clone showed in a short clash with Kakashi, where Kakashi proved that he learned from his past mistakes. That nowhere proves Kakashi's overall superiority to Itachi, which, in fact, is non-existent. Not to mention, that it was just part 1 Kakashi and not part 2, who was already superior to Zabuza.

Ah seems that you see the point of the thread Lol. But i actually think Itachi can win even without blitzing him from the start. He has a way to counter-play Zabuza's mist, but i'm waiting for other people arguments before i give my reasoning behind it

Crow genjutsu ends Zabuza finger genjutsu and basic sharingan genjutsu. Zabuza looked into Kakashi eyes multiple times. Itachi could simply remove himself from the mist rendering it useless. Itachi blind hand to hand combat matched Hebi Sasuke who multiple shinobi admitted inferiority to in taijutsu. Deidara is one and that's impressive since he fought off team Gai with one arm.
