I would generally say Shikamaru wins both; however, Itachi would be more apparantly in battle intelligence simply because he is overall stronger than Shikamaru.

For instance, Shikamaru within the battle determined Hidan's ability similar to how Itachi figured out Chibaku Tensei.

Shikamaru wins A and B. He is built around Intelligence. Though Itachi has quite a bit of intelligence as well, Shikamaru has quite a bit more and has been shown to be three to four full steps ahead of an enemy. He can interpret and dissect information in mere seconds and use the data as actual combat usefulness.

I agree with most, but remember the Itachi basically planned out Sasuke's life. That's sort of what I meant by general planning. Shikamaru has never planned something to that extent.

the difference between Itachi and shikamaru is that Itachi can make a plan while in battle against someone he never known. Shikamaru however needs prior information to formulate a strategy. Hidan is the best example of this for shikamaru and chibaku tensei is the best example for Itachi.
