Itachi vs Sasori?

Itachi clever as his he will know how to use his amaterasu to the best advantage that means the more the puppets the sweeter they will burn and the defense Susano'o also i would be surprised if itachi does not carry a mask around with him knowing sasori's poison prowess lloll

He still had one live part in his puppet body- his heart and soul was there. And if the soul was there it could be trapped in Totsuka... Though it's a tough one. Because Sasori's poison was dangerous. Chhiyo+Sakura combo was the best match for sasori.

Itachi would win. His Susano'o would counter the 100 puppets. he could defeat the 3rd Kazekage and Hiruko himself via Amaterasu/Fireball/Genjutsu. Vs Real Sasori, it'd be tougher, but Itachi would win via his clones and explosions.
And whoever said Kisame was weak is just wow. He isn't weak. Same for Deidara and Konan and Kakuzu.
This is about Sasori and Itachi, not anyone else lol.
I'm not saying Sasori would loose easily. He wouldn't. Genjutsu may not work due to the whole puppet thing, but without it Itachi would still win. I think Itachi would loose a limb, maybe.

ameratsu aint a waste if he uses it from the beginning of the fight he cant switch puppets because there are none to switch to and it would burn the core to a crisp anyway...the only way sasori is a problem is if he can pull the 100 puppets out...

nah the only problem sasori could be for Itachi it's using the 3rd and poison.
Pretty sure Itachi have the close combat skills to dispose of all the puppets, plus he had fire and water release , we focused a lot on MS but he also had great skill and could have only activate the lvl 3 sharigan which drain a lot less chakra to use.

Becuase they were the best possible combo against him. If Kakashi fought Sasori, he would be dead in few minutes. Sasori was very powerful, he defeated the strongest Kazekage in history when he was 15 years old. Still, Itachi would win in this one, mostly becuase of Susanoo.

I would've vote Itachi, he is for my opinion the second in the Akatsuki after Pain ( for his power) , but all those who think Sasori was the weakest in the Akatsuki, you are wrong. I'm tired of these stupid theories, just because he was the first Akatsuki member who was dead that doesn't make him weak, you put him lower than Hidan, Zetsu, Deidara(who stated that Sasori was stronger than him) , if you don't have FACTS that he was WEAK, then tell them to us but stop saying bullcraps .

No, just no.NO!! Sasori is the WEAKEST!!! Sakura would have raped him by herself!!!!
She would've been hit by the poison needles if Chiyo didn't use her chakra threads to control her movements. IF she made it past Hiruko, than anything in his arsenal would win, especially the 100 puppets.

Yeah I forgot to mention that Chiyo said that Sasori wanted to die at his parents arms and that he gave her an opening.
People try to understand that we are talking of an S-rank ninja organisation and not a genin organisation!

The only thing weak about Sasori is his heart. He is a puppet which makes him tougher physically, but he has the strongest heart in Akatsuki, which also makes him have the weakest. Especially when he's fighting his family.
Sasori is a tactical genius who's had spies in alot of places. He knows more than the average ninja. He's the opposite of weak.

Sasori is definitely not weak, and is not the weakest in the Akatsuki.The weakest is Zetsu imo, Hidan being the second weakest.Though I still think Itachi would win.Draegod was right about many aspects of the fight about genjutsu, sharingan and such.
But remember the sand you talked about?Well, it is a very useful defense mechanism, but it's iron sand.And Itachi being a fire style user, he could melt it by using fire ball jutsu or Amaterasu.Also, his Susano'o is equipped with a gourd, and you never know what's in that thing xd plus, his Susano'o's Totsuka blade is very long, and he could probably take down quite a few puppets using it.
