Why not break out the 100 puppets first... along with controlling the kazekage with his fingers.
Itachi wont even get the chance to blink..
Though susanoo will take care of alot of them..Sasori sure can find a weak spot in order to tear through it.
Yagami mirror either covers the front of the susanoo or the back.
100 puppets. That is alot of movements to deal with for just one person
Not to mention all the puppet parts that itachi destroys. Can still be used,
remember when sasori controlled the head of the puppet to use poison gas or shoot a spear.

One situation.
Third Kazekage.
Uses the special jutsu that is said to be 'impossbile to dodge'
He can take out scrolls while doing that since we are assuming he can use one finger to control the third kazekage
More than likely itachi would use susanoo to defend against it so he doesn't run the risk of getting scratched.
Im just reminding you, one scratch is all it takes.

Sasori has to firstly take out third kazekage, then take out iron sand ,

Then cast the jutsu....
1 amaterasu can shoot out many times in that time span.. there's a period of time that sasori is vunerable to it

I believe that Itachi would take it with high difficulty, because Sasori is a bad match-up for him, so if there is a lot of evidence I do not have any problem in correcting my decision about the winner.
Nevertheless, Itachi is a bad matchup for Sasori as well (not as Nagato though
) - with his mastery of Sharingan, Susano´o (how would you break Susano´o with one hundred fodders? Well, you wouldn´t ) and every hit from Itachi is a kill (Amaterasu, Totsuka sword, crushed by Susano´o´s hand).
So, now the only chance I see for Sasori is jumping between bodies and tiring Itachi out, but I don´t believe Itachi would fall for that. Poison is out of question because of Itachi´s fire release.
And one more thing - genjutsu. I would like to hear your opinion about the possibility of Sasori being taken into one, because I´m really indecisive about this one. Still, I think that Itachi takes it with high difficulty.

Itachi is rooted to the ground inside susaano? what are you talking about? susanno users can walk out , jump out , leave susanno at any time, and make it follow them,

although it will have a lag effect... with poison all he has to do is hold his breath obviously... sakura did it

However, his Amaterasu and Susanoo would finally take Sasori down. It would take some effort for Itachi, though.
And I hate putting Itachi on one tier as Nagato.

Thats because she wasn't fast enough to dodge the hand contraption on third kazekage puppet....
Itachi will never get caught by that, he's way too fast for that, and it will not pass susanno... infact susanno can just cut it in half
