You can't say Itachi has a chance, we've seen all of itachis moves yet we've seen close to none of the So6P, Itachi also has low chakra reserves and the Sage hold the 10 tails with Rinnegan. The sage was considered the greatest, Itachi would get smashed.

Before you close this thread I have a logical explanation for this.

Okay Itachi for sure has much more fanboys then any other character in the series even SO6P. Sasuke is the quite opposite of that though he has too many haters. Itachi vs S06P= Itachi because of genjutsu. That's what I see on every thread genjutsu, genjutsu, genjutsu10x. Get the point right I'm mad at how people are so stupid and act like they know stuff about the anime they watch. So, how come Itachi cannot win against S06P huh??? Itachi would just genjutsu him too. I am not a mad man I have reasons.

Though it would seem that this thread is nothing but the manifestation of an Itachi hater's frustration. It certainly took you lots of time to find those quotes, didn't it? Amusing.

Itachi is definitely not overrated - at least not by me. It's just fact that he's with distance one of the most talented Genjutsu users there are, so why shouldn't it be used in an argumentation? If anybody said that Itachi could beat Deidara with ease, with mere Genjutsu, before the actual flashback was shown, he would've been called a fanboy, or even worse - but then it was proved. The same goes for Orochimaru, who couldn't do anything about a powerful ilussion created by a 13 years old or even younger Itachi, though he was praised a total genius, with 5 points at Genjutsu. People are underestimating Itachi, or at least his haters.

Of course we know SO6P would win, but there are ways people can argue itachi wins:

Tsukuyomi/finger genjutsu: Every itachi supporter will argue that itachi can get anyone into even his weakest genjutsu if they do not have a sharingan, or tamed a bijuu.

Hype: Itachi is litterally said to be INVINCIBLE when he has susanoo with items up, so INVINCIBLE > SO6P.

But as much fans there are there are also some BIG HATERS!
And make fun of trully power powerfull characters like minato and itachi and pain.
