Yes but by then Pain wud be too high, because Itachi has to aim at the target and cast it and most likely it wud take about 5 secs for the bird to lose control and fall so from all this it wud at least be 15-20 secs from the time Pain started flying, btw why wudnt he keep the path that can absorb chakra with him? Just face it that Pain's chances are actually better.
dude ok i understand ur point but itachi can also win against pain, there are not many scenarios that pain can win in. look preta can easily be stopped by sword, tendo can be stopped by sword or stopped by itachi using genjutsu on him, others are vulnerable to ninjutsu like amaterasu, yaska magatama, and itachi's fireball techs. And itachi can pretty much defnd any of their attacks with yata mirror. YES pein can win he is really powerful with his paths but i see itachi's chances are better due to his ultimate defense, his sword, amaterasu and intelligence which he has shown us from time to time. If itachi sees their ablities he can would kno which ones to take out first. itachi IMO has a better chance in winning i am not saying pain cannot win.
I dont see how because if Itachi destroys all of these paths by then Pain wud be in the air, and plus Pain is more powerful so i believe Pain has more chances but if he gets caught by Koto he is most likely dead but Itachi already used Koto so idk, i am gonna let the poll decide.
dude the scenarios u say too be honest are very eccentric cos how would they all just get on the bird and just fly up there and would itachi just watch them all getting on the bird and fly away he would attack the bird directly or even underneath it with yaska magatami which can kill the bird immediately too b4 they get too high.
