I didn't know that, I was under the impression that Itachi pretty much roflstomped Orochimaru twice. As in two times. Jiraiya fought Orochimaru and couldn't beat him when he tried to make him come back to the village, so Oro and Jiraiya are pretty equal, and neither of them are = to Itachi.

Together they have a solid chance, but alone none of the sannin compare to Itachi.

And Jiraiya is somehow immune to Itachi's genjutsu?

Unless he starts in sage mode then he can be put in genjutsu same as anyone else. Itachi is capable of trolling both of them with just genjutsu.

People don't get just how ridiculous Kishi made Itachi's genjutsu skills. He had to make some people immune to genjutsu (Naruto, Bee, apparently Kabuto,) just so that Itachi wouldn't embarrass them when he fought them.

Pretty much the only ninja that could have applied to. I guess Garra might have been able to beat Kakashi during the Zabuza arc, but I really can't think of anyone else who could be that strong at 12.
