Yeah that's what I thought too but I read up on him and he can make himself lighter just like he did with Gaaras sand.

hmm well idk i still think he can get him considering itachi is the type that likes to end fights quickly & if genjutsu's a no go the next option is amaterasu.so my guess is itachi will try to hit him before he makes himself lighter

Oonoki would win. Especially if he has knowledge. He was able to fight madara without getting caught in genjutsu. He can fly which makes him much more mobile and faster. His dust release technique is very powerful and he has a ton of rock techniques that will give itachi a hard time.

Yeah that seems right but Oonoki has defense just like Itachi. The deciding factors would be

Dust release tech Oonoki recently used and amaterasu.

Oonoki can make himself a hell of a lot faster to possibly dodge amaterasu.

Itachi has yata mirror to possibly tank that technique.

but the same can be said about itachi he has Amaterasu a deadly jutsu which flames cannot be put out,Sword of Totsuka which is a 1 shot, Yasaka Magatama,tsukyomi, place u under genjutsu with 1 finger

true, sometimes Itachi catches his opponents in genjutsu without making eye contact like against Orochimaru & Naruto... Kisame woulda been on that list 2 but he was smart enough to back off

Whats that move the Oonoki did on Sasuke at Five Kage Summit that completely owned him but, 'Madara' saved him. It was some type of square jutsu.

Sasuke went blind because he had no idea how to act. He over used his eyes, for the most trivial of things, like amaterasu'arrowing a zetsu who wasnt even fighting him. Itachi's had his eyes for years without going completly blind, im pretty sure he could manage atleast 1 more fight without going completly blind

that also plays a factor in this match up will itachi be able to handle onoki before going blind.but itachi doesn't recklessly uses his ms like sasuke so he has chance in this fight,considering how he's an analyst and exceptionally smart

But Itachi knew the drawbacks and probably kept from using the techniques as much as possible. He probably hasn't fought with someone on such a high level to where he would have to use the techniques repeatably.

Well it sais full health so im assuming he starts with 0 blindness, & like someone else said hes smart enough to use it at the right times, not wild and crazy like Sasuke
