sad, how you remain on this, Onoki knew not to look at Madara's eyes, Kakashi knew not to look at Itachi's eyes, he told Asuma and Kurenai not to but he looked because he thought his Sharingan could break it. Why will Minato look at Itachi's eyes? Gamabunta cant throw Kunai, he'll throw trees and stones and other objects that are harder to avoid, why do you think I said marked objects not Kunai. and then Minato can end things with ftg level 2, I wonder if Itachi can bring out Susanoo faster than Minato can teleport and stab....Its something to consider, its an instantaneous tech.

If Minato fails his 1st FTG, he's pretty much fked. Since Itachi can just Amaterasu the Kunai the next time Minato throws it. Or jump completely outta range. Or use Shadow clones to keep an eye on Minato's kunai, or toss a kunai to block Minato's.

And i think a Sharingan can see through light. The Sharingan sees chakra. And Minato is full of chakra, so he'll see Minato.

Depends on how fast the kunai was thrown and how long was the distance.

Another thing- Itachi knew Sasuke was gonna attack, Sasuke even said it. But how wud Itachi know that a man is going to hop out of a kunai instantly? Thats just like saying Minato wud know to keep a distance from Itachi so he doesn't get hit with a genjutsu.

Also even if Itachi can see in the flash it won't do any good because he won't be able to do anything about the speed.

Well, Kakashi knew about Tsukuyomi from nowhere so we should expect the same from Minato, Amaterasu is already gone,Susanoo is a competent but chakra and eyesight draining defense so that just leaves Itachi's normal genjutsu, now first of all, I've never heard the whole someone is needed to help you break every sharingan genjutsu, Naruto wiki didnt mention that either, Sharingan genjutsu is given any special treatment only mangekyo sharingan genjutsu is, Deidara broke Sasuke's sharingan genjutsu by 'training his eye' did Kishimoto forget that? In any case, all of Itachi's genjutsu are short range if you check them all so Minato needs just keep his distance and throw his kunai, closing the distance only to instantaneously attack or summon toads the size of Gamakichi in part 1 to help him break genjutsu, these are tactics he would have to use if he cant just normally break the sharingan genjutsu the normal way as must have been taught to him by Jiraiya or the pain way which even Shikamaru as a genin knows and has never failed to break a genjutsu. Also the fact that one can manipulate chakra to break a genjutsu means that one can use techniques when caught in a genjutsu as evidenced by Deidara almost bowing himself up and Orochimaru moving his hands to break the genjutsu Itachi cast on him so Minato can teleport to safety which will completely erase his chakra and relocate him a good distance from Itachi's range of genjutsu.

Now for tsukyomi to work Minato must look in Itachi's eyes for a couple seconds and Itachi must cast it, thats how it works. So yes he is tooo fast, its called ftg all over the place with rasengans on Itachi. If Itachi does amatarasu or anything it will be dodged plus if Minato goes SM then he won't be affected by genjutsu. Susanoo has a great defense but Itachi will run out of chakra and won't be able to hit Minato. At the end Minato wins. Minato has more chances here, it won't be easy though.

Everyone keeps saying "Tsukiyomi" as if thats the only Genjutsu he uses.
seriously, Minato loses before the fight even starts. Not only because of Tsukiyomi, but regular Genjutsu and Genjutsu that dosen't require eye-contact is a win before the match.

If you have been paying attention to the manga you would have noticed that anyone can see through a genjutsu and break it, typically only if they are inteliigent enough and quick to realize it which minato being a genius would be able to...if the tsukynomi is the only argument you have that itachi would win then it is obvious you are wrong

So Minato wouldn't know Amaterasu is even gonna be used, and wouldn't be able to dodge it, because it wud come outta nowhere. He has the speed to dodge it, but not the reflexes or no lightning armor to stimulate his senses to basically give him a heads up to dodge it.
