Itachi vs Minato

Undoubtedly Itachi's strongest Genjutsu are based on the Sharingan. But even those strong ilussions don't always require eye contact. Magen: Kasegui, the Genjutsu he used to defeat Orochimaru, the one that impales the enemy, doesn't need eye contact. That's a 100% proved, since that's how Kishi said it in the Scrolls of Sha. There's also a small part about Genjutsu and how to cancel them. It's written there that a second person is necessary to cancel a Genjutsu based on the Sharingan. Those aren't just normal ilussions. There's a reason why Kakashi said that fighting someone like him one on one is impossible. I mean, how should Minato be able to cancel an ilussion if he's paralyzed and unable to form seals?

Anyway I don't see how he's supposed to dodge Amaterasu either. If Itachi seriously intends to kill Minato, he'll doubtlessly use Tsukuyomi the moment Minato looks into his eyes. You're talking about avoiding eye contact. But how should Minato know about Tsukuyomi? It's totally normal to look into the enemy's eyes. Even if he would be aware of it, eye contact can happen at any time, even if not intended. Even if he somehow would manage it to dodge it; Itachi could simply use a small ilussion to make his Amaterasu unseen the instand it can be seen. Like Madara said, the trick lies in how to use even a small, weak Genjutsu.

Even if Minato could, however, avoid both Itachis Genjutsu & his Amaterasu, I don't see what he intends to do against Susanoo.

Also the fact that one can manipulate chakra to break a genjutsu means that one can use techniques when caught in a genjutsu as evidenced by Deidara almost bowing himself up and Orochimaru moving his hands to break the genjutsu Itachi cast on him so Minato can teleport to safety which will completely erase his chakra and relocate him a good distance from Itachi's range of genjutsu.

The summonings can break him out of genjutsu easily (not tsukyomi) and even hold Itachi on and fight him. Itachi's amatarasu will be easily avoided, and susanoo's attacks will be avoided as well. Now if Minato spams ftg on him then Itachi wud have to go susanoo which takes him a lot of chakra to keep up so in the end Minato wins. And for those of u who are saying Itachi wud just use a genjutsu instantly and Minato wud get caught in it in the beginning of the fight, it doesn't work that way. I can say the same, that at the very beginning Minato uses ftg and kills him! Itachi can't use susanoo if he doesn't know Minato wud just appear out of the kunai! See doesn't it sound crazy??
