If ur logic is right why didn't Nagato go and meet his paths at the battlefield against Naruto( Since you say the closer they are, the stronger he gets). Minato is smart. He would dodge EVERY attack Nagato sends at him, and when he finds an opening, he'll strike!

Do you have proof he cant?? In the manga, he absorbs a rasengan from Naruto whilst using the human path and asura path at the same time so unless you have manga facts to back your claim up then it is canon that he can use preta while he is performing other jutsu.

That white snake he killed was completely by chance that amaterasu fell on it from nearby tree leaves.

Itachi can widen the range of his Amateratsu. When Kabuto pierced him he turned into crows but Kabuto was certainly not in Tsukuyomi.

proof of kabuto being smarter than nagato. nagato has more intelligence feats than kabuto. if nagato spent years in a lab messing with peoples dna he could be just like kabuto. so what if nagatos summonings are killed by amaterasu. itachi is killed by chibaku tensei.

minato didnt overpower A in strength, he merely beat him in speed and kicked him in the back. thats were shared vision comes into play. nagatos summons would see minato and alert nagato if he ever tried to speed blitz. minatos rasengans are countered by preta path and minato would get overpowered by asura path.

kabuto stated that orochimaru perfected edo tensei so thats a moot point. nagato has shown intelligence feats like sending animal path into konoha then having it summon the other pains so only one path would register in the barrier. itachi cant rapid fire yasaka magatama. itachi cant destroy any stage of chibaku tensei. A stated himself sasuke touched him through his raiton armor and it was obvious because he had a wound in his chest so another moot point. minato cant just transport huge summonings whenever he wants. he needs to immobilize them then he needs to gather chakra to do it. you say nagato is too slow to react to minatos speed. nagato uses shinra tensei, he doesnt even have to move to use it.

And secondly, it doesnt matter how wide he does the shot of amaterasu. The simple fact is, if he uses amaterasu, it drains his chakra steeply. The scale of how 'wide' he uses it makes no difference, if he widens it he simply uses more chakra. End of that story.

well i put it this way .jutsu isnt the key to winning battles, we saw this when sasuke fought orchimaru or/and better yet danzo....if itachi minato and nagato was to fight, it would have to be the only ninja with the most intellect that would win the fight.. so far from what ive seen in all mangas...by far itachi and minato will crush nagato...you all would have to remember that jiraiya's genjutsu nearly crushed the 6 paths of pain.. nagato isnt to bright when it comes to a fight..let alone itachi was part of akatuski that means he is bound to have some type of intel on nagato..no one ..i mean no one has ever been seen to break tsukuyomi except we saw sasuke do it...so ..down to itachi and minato ..the Dead Demon seal would pwn him..im sry i have to say..sharingan couldnt see it even if his life depended on it...

Nagato has stamina but he cud die early due to his lesser level of intelligence when compared to the others.

NOTE: Itachi WILL break Chibaku Tensei because he was able to throw multiple Yasaka's Magatamas at Kabuto meaning he cud do the same to Chibaku Tensei.
The only reason why he, Naruto and Bee all attacked was for Plot no Jutsu.

Itachi is extremely smart and has amazing intellect he not just smart lol. it would very be difficult for all 3 to be last one standing. Minato would win this because his speed would be to much for Nagato To handle and this probably is ill Itachi so he would lose as well but if this is Healthy Itachi I would say he would come out on top you also have to take in account that Itachi has amazing skill at Shuriken Jutsu that would help him a lot in this battle
