[Discussion] Itachi vs Lelouch: Who do you think is the more awesome character?

Both are my two favorite anime characters, intelligent and wise characters who wear a mask and stain their hands with blood to rid the world of a greater evil, while secretly doing whatever it takes to selfishly protect their beloved younger sibling even if said sibling hates them for it. Both are known liars, have insane ocular prowess, epitomize self sacrifice, yet died as noble heroes.

I love both characters honestly equally, but I sort of like Lelouch a tiny bit more and find him the better character of the two. Itachi's the more badass and awesome character, but Lelouch in a tiny way is more complex and better written.

Let's say they both made eye contact at the same time Itachi activating a genjutsu and Lelouch using his geass. When Lelouch begins to experience the effects of genjutsu Itachi should already be under the power of complete obedience. The closest thing to complete obedience in NV would be Shisui's MS ability which has been shown to work on Itachi. This means that Lelouch could effectively tell Itachi to undo the genjutsu and kill himself with his most powerful technique. That's just my opinion though don't know to much about Code Geass.

Itachi. I was never so gaga over Lelouch he's a very good character(technically he might be better written than Itachi, however Itachi had coolness over 9000), it's just I don't feel that buzz I had with Light Yagami.
