Gotta repeat myself.
A lot of people could break Itachis finger genjutsu, being unbreakable is not why its so dangerous. The reason for that is fact, that one dont know that hes already uder genjutsu, until weird shit starts to happen. To put it simply, Itachi can use it to create himself an openings.

First kisame has to "Know" he's in a Genjutsu. Then he has to "know" how to release it

He can have TONS of chakra, but if he dosen't know how to release, his chakra is useless.

Haha I wouldn't have quoted it if it had come from someone like Kakashi saying Itachi was more powerful. But Kisame said it about himself. If I say I like ***, its safe for you to tell others that I like *** because you heard it from the source.

Thats a bs way of explaining things. All im saying is that you should take a greater look at a characters abilities and less on what theyve said, because in the manga alot of characters have said things that arent accurate

Well that dosent garuntee a win just because someone says they will lose.
You still have to consider their abilites/advantages/disadvantages before you just assume a victory for a character, just because the other one said he might lose.

Admitting says a lot, especially when an arrogant character says it for no reason, it means Kishi made him say it jus to tell us who is more powerful. And also logically Itachi kills Kisame with ease.
