Kakashi loses badly defeating Obito is nothing impressive considering that's obito only showing of Taijutsu in the series

Kakashi takes this. Itachi's weakest ability is his taijutsu statistically and he was never proficient in it. Kakashi on the other hand is fairly experienced in comparison.

Even with similar Taijutsu experience, Itachi is noted to be the faster shinobi and speed is one of the most vital aspects of CQC which was conspicuously shown in Sasuke vs. Haku. Itachi wins.

I view them as equals with more leaning towards Kakashi due to his consistent sparring rival Gai.
Itachi is comfortably above him. More skilled (5 vs. 4.5) and he's far faster than Kakashi with much better reflexes. Kakashi gets murked.

They are both 4.5

Yeah, I've been informed. Doesn't change the gap between them in overall ability.

There is no gap, you're grasping at straws.

No, there is one to anyone who reads the Manga properly. They are on par in skill but Itachi's reflexes and body movement speed far surpass Kakashi's thus he beats Kakashi in Taijutsu. An argument for Kakashi winning or tying with Itachi is an argument based on nothing.

You're wrong, but if that's what you believe, I am not here to change your mind.

They are more or less the same, Part 1 Kakashi ( who is much slower ) was able to keep track of Itachi's movement.

A faster, more polished incarnation of the same character would have no issues.

The difference in speed is minimal to negligible in the overall scheme of things here.

funny how you used DB first but then went on to assume Kakashi honed and polished his skills while Itachi didn't
what's even more funny is the same DB gives exactly same score to both part 1 and part 2 Kakashi.

I was responding to his reference about speed and reflexes being a deciding factor, the databook statistic is in reference to their taijutsu skill, the second post (where you bolded) is about speed not taijutsu.

Taijtusu-wise, they have had similar portrayal and rated the same in that statistic, yet I suggested that Kakashi should get the nod in the field due to his rival being Gai, who is a taijutsu beast himself.

and i only referred to DB part
Itachi has far better speed and reflex feats compared to Kakashi against Narto;Bee and then against DSM Kabuto

Not by the time War Arc rolls around. There is no disparity by then.

Just experience, you know, since it has been alluded to numerous times how Kakashi and him are rivals.

That's based on Kakashi's decisive characteristic, versatility, sharingan, and ninjutsu expertise. His ability to contend with Gai isn't reflective of his Taijutsu when Kakashi has numerous qualities that enables him to edge out over Gai.

They had similar portrayal in Taijutsu, but Itachi's speed is insurmountable for Kakashi and superior speed was the main reason why Sasuke triumphed against Haku. Speed is such a crucial aspect in combat that lack of it can really tip the odds in your opponent's favor.

lel what.how did you calculate his growth and itachi's growth and compare them when manga made it clear that itachi's reflex and speed were above Kakashi

Just experience, you know, since it has been alluded to numerous times how Kakashi and him are rivals.
yes and Kakashi keeps up with him becoz of vast arsenal not only taijutsu
here he is limited to taijutsu only

No, he wasn't. He was getting washed. :lol Being able to track and physically keep up are two completely different things. Like I said, arguing Kakashi wins is based on nothing.

Itachi barely managed to get one over and that was only because he grabbed his cape thingy lol.
