ahh i forgot about itachi using his fingers for genjustsu, i was more focused on the stronger genjustsu itachi uses with his sharingan, hmm... that makes me think the fight would be more close than i originally thought

When I say downgrading I mean that you weren't giving Itachi his fair credit. If he has an advantage you have to say he has the advantage, not say that they are about even.
If I lose to someone in a contest, I still lose, even if I barely lost. Oh man, I never thought I would quote vin diesel but here goes "It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile".
See what I mean? I didn't mean downgrading like you hate him or think he is weak, just that you aren't saying he has the advantage when he does.
And so you agreed with everything else, other than about his chakra levels. I think the databooks has them both at either 3 or 3.5 so they are equal. But we have seen Itachi wear out a curse mark Sasuke who had absorbed Oro, while Kakashi was almost out of chakra just when he used Kamui on that Susanoo arrow.
So I guess it is relative because it seems like Itachi has better chakra control then and can use moves for less chakra.

you should reread the manga against pein with only 50% of his chakra he used 1 raikiri , 1 doton and 2 kamui.
vs sasuke he was going to re use it again without any problem when tobi saved sasuke.you're obviousely the one who downgrading kakashi.
so without sharingan kakashi's will got a better stanima and control than itachi .

The fight would almost be a stalemate, but Kakashi would pull through in the end.
Kakashi has Earth jutsu to counter most of Itachi's Water-based jutsu, as well having Water jutsu to counter Itachi's Fire Jutsu.
On top of that, Kakashi has Raikiri, which could potentially end the battle if he can get a hit on Itachi. Then again, that depends on how well Kakashi can use Raikiri without the Sharingan.

I see what you are referring to, but I am willing to give anyone fair credit whenever its due, such as itachi's skill in genjutsu, his speed, and his intelligence.
I am even willing to argue on the other side of the debate. Such as itachi's skill in dedeucing the weaknesses in kakashi's jutsus and acting accordingly with his skill with his ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu in order to defeat kakashi.
kakashi lose his chidori with sharingan, I mean as the Minato told, this tecnic is not good for usual spead and reaction, no sharingan, no scidori. Itachi seems to lose every thing exept katon. So even not interesting battle.

battles are not all ninjutsu. kakashi still has rasengan, earth and water techniques plus summonings and a few genjutsu.
first things that need to says is that databook stoped at chapter 409
so about 160 chapter ago !
while itachi died ,kakashi did great progress that have not been include in databook.
according to the manga and old databook that stoped at chapter 409 :
genjutsu : itachi
databook --> kakashi : 4 itachi : 5
kakashi and itachi can use genjutsu without sharingan but at lower level than sharingan genjutsus,since kakashi shown only 1 i'll put itachi above kakashi because of his 2 finger midle level genjutsus Dusk Crow Genjutsu and Ephemeral .
ninjutsu : : kakashi
databook --> kakashi : 5 itachi : 5
affinities can't be copied so they both still have all their elements,
itachi can use katon and suiton ,has a good fireball jutsu and can use housenka as well and a good fast suiton attack,
kakashi can use suiton,raiton and doton so more jutsu than itachi and got advantages to counter any itachi's attack.
people keep saying he only has chidori and forgot that he also got kage bunshin,Summoning Tracking Fang,raiton kage bunshin,raiju hashiri and raikiri and some suiton and doton impressing jutsu like suiji heki and doton shinju zanshu etc...

Without the Sharringan, Itachi is limited to basic genjutsu and fire release.
Kakashi has Water, Earth and lightning.

Not really. Kakashi could still use it, the speed would just be too much for his normal eyes. Also, we don't see him whip out the Sharringan every time he uses it, so maybe his normal eye is adapted to it.

give me the exact point where he will defeat itachi in.......

Kakashi wins. Even without the Sharingan, Kakashi has Earth, Water and lightning jutsu, so even without his 1000 jutsu, he will still have a shit ton. Kakashi has summons, gifting him with advanced scent and hearing senses that can come in handy in battle.
Itachi without sharingan has some genjutsu i'm sure, but how do we know his sharingan wasn't the reason he was so proficient at using his regular genjutsu?? And people are saying his regular genjutsu would win the battle as if it manipulates time like tsukiyomi does, it really doesn't lol I see him being ok in genjutsu skill w/o sharingan because we all know that's the reason why he's so good at it, you can't deny his lineage. Sharingan lets you recognize a technique, so sharingan helped him master his genjutsu a lot faster, he doesn't have it in this fight, so he would probably be just a skilled genjutsu user, which Kakashi is too without the sharingan as well.
Itachi has water and fire jutsu, and I would put his speed slightly above kakashi, but he is not levels above him in speed. Itachi was known for his fast reflexes in waiving hand signs, which would pose a problem because kakashi wouldn't know how to counter. Stamina wise they are about equal, but w/o sharingan I would put kakashi above Itachi. his sharingan put a lot of strain on his body, partly due to the fact he was not an Uchiha, so without it I imagine he would have average chakra levels, Itachi too.
