Itachi Vs Kakashi(No Sharingans in this match)

D and Oro would beat Itachi in this condition. On both occasions both opponents were not expecting to be put in genjutsu and neither were out for a full out brawl. His Sharingan was still active, thus this had some affect whether it was his reaction time or something (may be wrong about this part).

But they weren't sharingan genjutsus. They were the genjutsus that he activates when you look at basically any part of his body.

That is why Itachi is so deadly, if you go back and reread his fights he starts literally every single one of them with genjutsu. It doesn't get a chance to turn into an all out brawl.

Like in the Sasuke fight, few people realize this but Sasuke didn't see through all of Itachi's genjutsus, there were multiple genjutsus and Sasuke stabbed two of the genjutsu Itachis and the second one just pointed back at the real one and Itachi was like "Whatever you still don't have the same eyes, you is going to lose"

So all that time that Zetsu was wondering what they were doing, Itachi could have gotten up and killed Sasuke, but he didn't (obviously because he wanted to seal Oro and let Sasuke "win")

Same with Oro, Itachi let him know it was a genjutsu, and then he cut off his hand.

And Deidara, it wouldn't have mattered if they were in an all out brawl or not, had Itachi made Deidara think that he is Itachi and that Itachi is Deidara, then he would have used his bombs on himself, it wouldn't have mattered at what point.


I think people don't understand just how powerful Itachi's genjutsu is. The only person to break it on their own was Bee and that is because he had Samehada and the eight-tails. Reread Itachi's fights and you will see how useful it is, he can win without moving. Now consider if he threw a genjutsu in while they were in the middle of fighting, he could make them kill themselves or a teammate. Easy peasy .

This is a toss up for me. It depends on if Kakashi can get out of Itachi's regular genjutsu. If he can't then I might give it to Kakashi but I am not sure.

Speed- Itachi
Intelligence - about even, probably give the edge to Itachi.
Strength - ? Neither of them are known for their physical strength so I guess this is a draw.
Genjutsu - Itachi obviously
Taijutsu - without the sharingan they would probably be pretty evenly matched
Ninjutsu - Kakashi has a larger arsenal (possibly, remember he only got that through the sharingan, and Itachi could have copied any number of moves so who is to say he didn't?)
Elements - Kakashi has the elemental advantage of earth vs water and water vs. fire, and then he has lightning on top of that.
Chakra levels - about even or give it to Itachi. Itachi made a curse mark Sasuke who had absorbed Oro run out of chakra.
So even without the sharingan, Itachi is just a bit better than Kakashi. Kakashi's only advantage is the elemental strengths he has, while Itachi has the genjutsu advantage and the speed advantage.

That is false. That was a normal genjutsu Oro was in, not Tsukuyomi.

Itachi was a captain of the ANBU at 13, which is how old he was when he killed the Uchihas. He was massively talented and was stronger than most of them even without the sharingan.

Itachi would lose to Jiraiya if Jiraiya was in sage mode, but Itachi still would have genjutsu, which is Jiraiya's and Oro's weakness. Probably Tsunade's as well since that seems to be a theme amongst the Sannin.

Itachi still has his regular genjutsu, speed, average chakra levels, and intelligence. Be honest and tell me how many people have beaten Itachi's regular genjutsu. One? And that is only because Killer Bee is a perfect jinchurikki and he had Samehada. No one else had gotten out before Itachi could have killed them. So hate on Itachi all you want, facts are facts. And don't forget that he doesn't need Susanoo to use the Yata mirror or the Totsuka sword, since they are real weapons.

And secondly Itachi has genjutsus that he can activate if you look at his finger or other body parts, he said it in the manga and it has been shown in the manga.

Those required no hand signs so yeah.


I've already said before, Itachi is better than kakashi in every way, except for the fact that he doesn't have the elemental advantage, which wouldn't matter as Kakashi copied those jutsus with the sharingan anyway while Uchihas learn fire techniques on their own, and some of Itachi's genjutsus aren't sharingan related. itachi will still take this i think. he can still cast gengutsu's without the sharingan like everyone else is saying. kakshi is my favorite character and i want to side with my ninja but lets face it, itachi is faster and more intelligent, not by much (databook rates them both at 5) but after the one chapter where he breaks the edo(by accident) shows how far ahead he thinks and analyzes situations. I sayitachi wins 6 out of10 fights with kakashi

hand signs isn't so important just for a katon gokakyou .kakashi know itachi's jutsus,he's enough skilled to fight a genjutsu user.

what else can he do? he got 2-3 elemental jutsus that use handsigns so that doesn't change anything...

as i showed you,itachi need sharingan for most of his genjutsu but he has only 2 non eye contact genjutsus Crow Ephemera and Dusk Crow Genjutsu

And no kakashi can't copy affinity,he has 3 elements ,so he still has by far more jutsus and advantages than itachi.

just 1 lighting clone could be fatal to paralyze itachi and kill him.

Ok that may be the case, simple genjutsu if that's what you wanna call it. But in each situation D and Oro were not in the state of mind to kill, let alone expect the usage of genjutsu. Also, Oro too attempted to break his genjutsu, but was prevented from doing so.

We know for a fact that Kakashi's elemental affinity is Raiton and I believe the secondary is Doton. Two elements for a normal shinobi without a Doujutsu, Kekkei Genkai, or Kekkei Tota. Kakashi copied most of his Suiton techniques from Zabuza, Kisame, I believe the Water Fang from Itachi (Not sure), and possibly from other Water users met in his life. Fuuton was learned from Minato. So Kakashi has two elements without his Sharingan "database", which holds the copied elements and jutsus. Itachi has two primary elements as well: Katon and Suiton.


Without Sharingan Kakashi cannot accurately hit an opponent with his Raikiri because he cannot see them clearly and cannot counter their movement. Against a fast shinobi like Itachi, who also managed to stop Sasuke's full charged Chidori with one hand, I think Itachi could easily dodge the attack and counter using the opening. The only Lightning techniques Kakashi knows are: Raikiri, Lightning Clone, and the Lightning Beast. It'd also be hard to use Lightning Beast and direct it to hit the opponent without using Sharingan. Itachi has other Fire jutsu besides Great Fireball Technique, so that's not the only Fire he can work with.

When it comes to Genjutsu remember, Kakashi has used a low rank Genjutsu. That's the only one he has I believe. Itachi can use Emphemeral, a much higher ranked Genjutsu without the use of his Sharingan. Easily beats Kakashi there.

As for Taijutsu they are both somewhat equal, however, Itachi has proven that he is dangerous when using weaponry. He managed to stop Sasuke's shuriken with his own and even managed to weave hand seals at the time. Itachi also managed to blind all of Nagato's summoning with kunai despite the Rinnegan's excellent field of vision. I'm pretty sure Itachi can catch Kakashi with a kunai even if it's just a mere ninja tool for novices.

How was he prevented from doing so though? By Itachi cutting his arm off, and apparently that was before Oro could regenerate otherwise he would have just fought anyway.

That is what Itachi does, he starts a genjutsu before the fight even really begins and the opponent doesn't know it. He then either makes them hurt themselves or he attacks while they can't do anything.

His genjutsu is what makes him so strong. That and the Yata mirror and the Totsuka sword (which he would still have because they aren't restricted to Susanoo, he would just have to use them like a normal weapon instead of huge stuff)

Don't know. Maybe the excessive use of the MS not only was blinding him but affecting health.
