I say Itachi has this. One look and the man is down. Jiraiya doesn't have the same advantage of location he did against Pain, so there is nowhere to hide. He can run around all he likes, I doubt the fight will last long enough for him to even go into sage mode. Summons are either burned down or controlled, and Itachi already shows that he is capable of escaping the toad stomach. Yomi Numa is a nice argument, but I'm pretty sure Itachi can burn him down before he sinks Itachi, since Amaterasu needs no seal and all. Food Cart Destroyer is tanked with Susano'o. Since Jiraiya has full knowledge, I doubt he'll make eye contact, but there is always that finger genjutsu, and I don't see how you can dodge someone pointing at you.

With intel on it he can bunshin feint it, use line of sight or simply use smoke.

Fallacies

Itachi used two amas after sustaining backlash from tsukuyomi (during sasuke fight), that was what injured him.

He also used two tsukuyomis before using ama to escape in part 1

& as for susanoo, he maintained it right up until death. Honestly its apparent that uchiha have powerful chakra, therefore powerful jutsus. Susanoo is a powerful jutsu but when was it ever stated that susanoo drains massive amounts of chakra? it wasnt, susanoo can take as much as a simple rasengan to make, the only problem is the drain on his actual lifeforce which can be avoided or drastically reduced if he uses susanoo ribcage with an arm/yata.

Itachi isnt going all out, he doesnt need to (unlike during sasuke's battle). Susanoo will be used in the most dire of situations, & even then he wont need the full thing when yata can do just as much defensively.


So in conclusion itachi wins this, jiraiya will have to keep up with itachi's handseals, his shunshin, his ama, his tsykuyomi, & his ephemeral all without the use of his hands in order to prep SM. This is mid diff at most..

Yeah no. He had breathing time between those. Right after using Tsukuyomi he was so crippled he couldn't dodge 2 shuriken.

He used Tsukuyomi.Then he had a moment of backlash Sasuke didn't take the opportunity to attack right after breaking out.He used amaterasu on the katon and suffered backlash, he used amaterasu on that toad belly jutsu but was he in battle? Nope he was escaping, if Itachi uses too many MS moves like you guys are claiming then he will lose and suffer the consequences.

So what?? Sasuke breaking his ama destroyed him & immediately put him at a disadvantage. Itachi has never sustained backlash like that until his tsuku got broken. This means that if his tsukuyomi gets broken then he becomes vulnerable, but with full info on jiraiya a tsuku shot is possible seeing as he cant even break out.

Btw every time itachi used his MS he became more & more blind. This is incentive for Itachi to do two things to end the battle, he will need to end it quickly & he will need to rely on his actual skill more. Itachi's speed, & his ephemeral is more than enough to subdue jiraiya, especially when he has his hands tied.
