Wrong. Like you can see it now, Madara use rarely genjutsus which is the speciallity of Itachi. By the moment Hashirama will look in Itachis eyes it will be over. Tsukiyomi can't be countered.

For the bolded part, that shows that either Tobi was an idiot not to use genjutsu at that time, or Minato is a genius who is capable to fight an Uchiwa even by looking their eyes. Don't forget he knew perfectly well what his ennemy was capable to do(he even said that he could control Kyubi, but even with that he had to kill him quickly, showing that fighting a sharingan user is not a big deal for him).

He can do all that all thanks to the Rinnengan, what he had not in his fight against Hashirama. Also i'm not saying Madara can't use genjutsu. I'm saying he use it rarely, not like Itachi who used it even before the fight is going on.

And no, Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu is faster cuz you don't even need to move to cast the jutsu. It's with an blink of eye. At the time Hashirama will do his one handsign he will be already in tsukiyomi. Remember Deidara vs Itachi.

Haha, i thought the same thing. And what is even funny is that Minato knew perfectly how Madaras control of Kyubi works(he said it has a time limit). That shows he knew Sharingan perfectly well.
