itachi vs hanzo

If you ask me hanzo is one of the most overlooked and underrated characters in this series. He is clearly a top tier shinobi.
His list of feats include:
Fodderizing nagato
Fodderizing the legendary sannin
Sparing mifune

I don't believe I've ever seen this thread before
There aren't any restrictions.
This a full on battle which means they can use anything they want(though we really haven't seen much from hanzo)
I think itachi wins this one.

Hanzou or "Draw." Why?

Itachi is skilled, but Hanzou is skilled himself and has more experience in battle. Hanzou also has poison and a summoning animal that utilize poison which Itachi has no counter to. Even if Itachi were to fatal wound Hanzou, Itachi would just be in more danger to his poison do to Hanzou's poison transplant Jutsu. That Jutsu would not only cause his death, but also his opponent deaths, ending the battling in a "Draw."

Itachi could win be utilize his weapon via Susanoo which could seal Hanzou, but he has to be close in range to land a strike. Itachi also has Genjutsu which could freeze his opponent in their steps and then strike them down, but following those maneuvers could lead to his death.

The battle could go either-way with Itachi dying from poison and Hanzou being sealed via Susanoo.

When did he beat Nagato? I think you are 100% wrong about this. Nagato not only killed Hanzo but all of his guards by himself.

And when it was just the three orphans, Hanzo had Root ninjas and his own to back them up and he still had to run away because they all died.

Please post facts, don't make things up.

He also fought the Sannin before they were good. They were in their teens and it was a large battle with many people on either side. Hanzo was the only survivor on his side and the Sannin were the only survivors on their side.

He didn't "fodderize" anyone, please reread those chapters.

Actually after that fight hanzo was the one who named them the sannin so if you wanna get technical they were sannin during that fight.
I don't see what's wrong with being a jonin aren't jonin elite ninja.
There is no such rank as sannin.

Itachi never use susanoo or amaterasu at the begining ,he always start with ninjutsu and genjutsu.

Hanzo can maybe win if he manage to come enough close to Itachi.With his speed and intelligence he can do it.

During his attempt to kill Nagato, he demonstrated impressive skills to trap with oriented techniques, as he not only anticipated the attacker Nagato, but had also placed correctly a series of explosive tag in preparation for such an eventuality.Even if Itachi can use genjutsu ,it won't annulate the poison ,again it depend of the range.

Itachi has more chance to win.

Hazo hasnt shown us anything which even makes me think for a second that he could beat itachi. Look at it this way, the way the edo's were on the battlefield. Nagato and itachi were together. The kages were together. Then hanzo was with kimimaro and chiyo. I hope you see what im trying to say

Exactly.
Nagato and itachi were the strongest out of the edo's.
Followed by the kages.

Madara excluded
