I would have to say it would be a tough fight but Gui in the end would probably win due to his knowledge of Itachi AND the 7th Gate Daytime Tiger. Its considered a one shot kill. inb4 "IT DEDNT KELL KISAME IN WAWN SHAWT!" It was because he held back so that information could be extracted, and also so that he wouldn't compromise the island.

Gai can fight without looking at the person's eyes,he can look at the feet and he has mastered this trick as he has been rivalling kakashi through out his life,so genjutsu isnt a problem,itachi dosent light a candle to guy in taijutsu,7 gates finishes it.

Nonsense. If your Chakra flow is disturbed, you cannot use Ninjutsu techniques. Above Madara already demonstrated that Genjutsus have a great effect even against the Raikage while being in his Raiton armor.

If his stamina was as low as it was when he fought sasuke, then the susanoo becomes a last resort as well as gai with the gates. Itachi will also not last as long in a fight as Guy can

Because gai is so proficient with countering eye related genjutsu-users, I highly doubt that Itachi will easily force him to look at anything other than his feet. Gai is extrememly fast even without the gates and a very accomplished taijutsu fighter and would likely overwhelm itachi in close quarters combat despite his sharingan, giving him very little time to use any sort of jutsu.

In the end, when Itachi uses MS, Gai will immediately use the gates to completely overwhelm him, forcing itachi to use susanoo. Itachis susanoo could protect him from the barrage of attacks for short time, but eventually, his stamina will give out earlier than gai will exhausting himself in gates mode, since he has trained to use it for longer periods of time as well as to withstand the damaging side-effects for a while.

As I have qouted countless times.... Gai's Daytime Tiger show against Kisame was tremendously held back he used minimum power. Why? So that they could extract information from him. And so that he wouldn't destroy the island/kill the turtle.

are you comparing itachi to madara?,he has the ems,itachi has the ms,the power difference is obviously there,and i didnt say it was exactly the same as raiton armour,and the gates is a taijutsu move,the chakra is constantly overflowing from their chakra pathway system in their body,so how will itachi take over his chakra when it is constantly overflowing?,breaking genjutsu is to stop the flow of chakra then restart it again with a stronger flow,the gates continously pump chakra within the person,so even if itachi somehow takes over his chakra while in gates mode,the gates will still flow chakra again and again and it will have no effect.

Who says anything abt ninjutsu,does guy use ninjutsu?,the gates are a taijutsu move you know?
