Itachi, since Deva isn't immune to genjutsu....IF and that's a big IF Deva is able to get off Chibaku Tensi, could he deflect or block it?

Its defenitly itachi.I read about itachi and i found out that he can keep up with naruto in his 9 tailed chakra mode and killer bee in taijutsu. *REMEMBER HE STILL HAS THE SICKNESS* What would happen if he didnt have the sickness?

Nagato couldn't avoid the blade coz he lacked of mobility, which is not the case of Deva Path. So even if Itachi uses Susanoo and totsuka at first, Tendo has the chance to avoid it, or even push it away with Shinra tensei, and i don't know why he can't cast Chibaku tensei when he really needs it.

Itachi can just put them in genjutsu, when Ma and Pa put them in a genjutsu all of them was in one. And that genjutsu isn't near Itachi level of genjutsu. And not to mention he has Tosukiomi(or how ever you spell it

Tobi didn't destroy the hidden leaf because at that time, Minato was there and also the Third to stop him. Do you realize that Minato was powerful enough to stop Tobi? And also, Pain was able to destroy the hidden leaf because no one is strong enough to stop him and naruto was not present at that time because of his training. And also, itachi can't destroy hidden leaf because he loves the village. have you ever watched naruto? watch the history of itachi uchiha and you'll understand why.

NO ONE at that time was strong enough to stop pain. konoha anbu was there, kakashi was there, choza's clan was there, shino's clan was there, inno's clan was there, kiba's clan was there, heck they even got protection from tsunade(greatest medical nin btw). can you picture itachi beat all this clan by himself??? if naruto came earlier before pain shinra tensei'd the village, naruto would get captured. plot no jutsu saves naruto when he came in late, coz tendou's power wasn't useable, that allows naruto to destroy some of pain's path. did you notice when tendo's power came back naruto kissed the floor?lol.
and let me give you some facts kiddo, jiraiya sacrifices his life just to give some hint to konoha how pain power works. without all those hard work from jiraiya and the intel team naruto will never beat pain.

D fact dat Tobi failed to destroy Konoha doesn't mean Pain>>Tobi.. U have 2 remember dat d 4th was der to stop him.. F der was some shinobi out there powerful enough to face Pain during his attack to d hidden leaf, it would have been a different story.. Pain said if jiraiya knew all his secrets he would be dead but what If pain used chibaku tensei on jiraiya how would jiriya stop it so if jiraiya can beat the deva path why can't itachi because jiraiya hasn't got a counter for chibaku tensei and Itachi hasnt either but itachi could use Yasaka Magatama but I don't think that will be enough because of itachis stamina
firt off, tobi didn't take in charge until nagato was dead. why? its because nagato and konan are claiming that they started akatsuki and yahiko was the true leader, now no one here knows how tobi influenced yahiko to start akatsuki and if it is even true. the fact here is that tobi let nagato stand as a leader to the akatsuki because he cannot control him fully tobi was like using nagato because they share same goal. if nagato allows tobi to be incharge he would explicitly allow tobi to be their leader and konan and pain should be just like other duo in the organization.
now before tobi obtains rinnegan he doesn't have any firepower, tobi even admits that he is powerless during that time. this is why I believe pain>>tobi in terms of firepower. tobi's intangibility is the only thing that he has. he would never win against pain if they'll fight during that time.
dude, animal path himself forces jiraiya to use his sage mode already. come three paths he was already losing, frog song just saves his ass. now nagato showed him six paths and jiraiya was completely owned. and tendou didn't even use single shinra tensei on that battle. what pain said after the fight was more like of a respect to his former teacher, like what tobi said when he was strucked by itachi's amaterasu trap. so those statement doesn't prove a thing.
and as I have said on this thread, itachi has a higher chances of beating deva if deva alone is his opponent, all itachi has to do is to stop tendo before he throws CT and he should be fine.

To be honest Jiraiya needing to retreat from the 3 paths seemed like plot. He was unlucky enough to attack the wrong paths with the wrong fighting style. Did he actually need Frog Song to finish off his ambush anyways? One was stuck, the other just got smacked and the last one was absorbing a jutsu.

Use some common sense. Why do you think Pain was successful? It's because of the other paths. He wasn't by himself when he attacked them. And besides, Pain would've got his ass kicked if it wasn't for his mates. He was successful in destroying the hidden leaf because he flew like 200 feet above. now who would reach that? And when Jiraiya sent the intel on how powerful was his enemies, he mean the Six of them, not deva path alone. Use you head sometimes.

sometimes Masters beat their student and I think Jiraiya could of beaten pain if he knew his secrets and he could exploited more weaknesses and then he would Of beaten pain

if you read all my post here I actually agree that itachi would beat tendou byhimself but not with other paths
pain is not tendo alone. pain's name is shared by all of his paths.. so you can call all of them as pain. can't you understand that ? I think you need to reread manga, you don't even know this common knowledge about pain.

If this is deva like when he fought kakashi and didn't have access to his full scale powers, then Itachi most likely wins as long as he doesnt get dragged onto and impaled on something as soon as the fight starts. If its like he was when he fought kyuubi naruto, then deva path wins.
