Itachi vs. All 3 Sannins

WOW! way too much loving on Itachi in here. First of all. Itachi could attempt to spam them but when it comes down to it. If all three sannin were in full health and all abilities then they have no problem. Jariya could just use his genjutsu like on pain. Orochimaru could just use edo tensai and bring the first and second. Tsunade could punch through him to allow them to seal him. They are all just about equal. and three v. 1 is unfair in almost any fight. Itachi would put up a great fight but The sannin win mi-hardish

I'm sure Itachi, who is extremely gifted wig genjutsu, could either captivate first or counter Jariya's genjutsu. 1st and 2nd sealed away, and even if not, the blade can, seal them and Itachi is smart enough to time up an attack with the blade so that the Kate cannot evade. Tsunade would have him except for the fact that he can turn instantly into crows and can do so when close combat becomes a threat. I base his smartness and giftedness in genjutsu on experience and the ninja handbook,so I'm not Itachi loving, and I actually pointing out the few flaws that he has although he seems to balance them.

Well I'm not a fanboy. I gave 3 lengthy explanations on why I thought Itachi would win touching on a dozen or 2 points. I understand you have a different idea of what would go down. But unless you explain why there's not a chance that I will just take your word. I try to look at the characters without any bias to any of the ones in question, but the fact that on 2 occasions Itachi pretty much one shoted oro, who was said to be the strongest of the three, says that Itachi is above Sanin level. Even if I was a fan boy, at least determine that from the posts I took the time to write and base your opinion as such.

For people saying ":sannin obviously/easily/low dif" you need to review the manga. As far as I understood the first posts weren't aware that it was EDO Itachi and not Itachi. So let's make this obvious now:

EDO ITACHI vs Sannin

Here's my opinion:

Normal Itachi would most likely lose against sage Jirayia, let alone all three. Plus we need to consider that the sannin work well as a team. Nevertheless, it's EDO!!! Which means he can pretty much spam MS because his eyes don't deteriorate. I'm not sure about his chakra reserve though, but the sickness is gone, so he can be at his full potential. Also he has izanami (not sure what it does but apparently strong enough to mess with Kabuto) and all the other MS tech. Don't forget about tsukyiomi and most importantly KOTO AMATSUKAMI!

That's Itachi's full arsenal. If any MS tech or KA or izanami ... any of those ... if they even touch jirayia, Itachi won this fight easily. otherwise it would be a tough battle. However, most likely Itachi will be the winner in this case.

Fair, except that the last 2 times that Itachi faced oro their fights lasted under 10 seconds, whether normal oro or 7 head snake form. I think that oro with al his focus on research would be the smartest of the three, yet he did not even realize until a time almost too late that he was even in a genjutsu. I think if they let J-man charge up it would cost them both their lives, and then an actual battle would begin. If J-man were to get to sage mode, It would greatly reduce the chance that Itachi would win. I want to call J-man in such a scenario but Itachi still has some things going for him. But if they are aware of Itachis genjutsu then I think that he would be aware that J-man has sage mode, and many even just amaterasu him while he charges. SM might give sannin the win

OK. Me and a friend were discussing this earlier today. I want to see what the base has to contribute to this particular discussion.

Edit: Edo Itachi: Full health. ( It was meant to be Edo all this time >.> )
3 Sannins: Full health.

Note: I don't think any of the Sannins are fast enough to dodge Amaterasu, and we know Itachi took down Orochimaru with a NON-Mangekyo Genjutsu. Tsunade would be of help to heal the others. What do you guys think? :shrug:

EDIT: HOLY CRAP, I just realized that I had mentioned Itachi, and not... EDO Itachi. I knew whilst I was reading the comments there must have been a reason as to why so many people were instantly giving the Sannins the win. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. So, Edo Itachi vs the 3 Sannins.

Boss!!! However, again. Itachi himself stated that he cannot beat jaraiya. Edo or not jaraiya still has sealing techs. itachi loses.

Jariya would own Itachi(normal) there have been threads as to why both of them would win and Jariya always comes out on top.

Jariya has more chakra, better jutsu, and has a hell of a lot more experience then Itachi.

As for Itachi beating Oro. Yes he can but isnt it said that facing an Uchiha one on one is dumb to do? and do not forget this is 3 v. 1 so Genjutsu will be nearly impossible.

And Jariya took on Pain who everybody had considered a god. Pain even said that if J-man knew his secret he might have won.

And jariya in sage mode can dodge amatarasu considering that Naruto could dodge the 3rd raikage and his enhanced sensing. Oro has his snake skin shedding. And Tsunade could just use regeneration until jariya can seal the amatarasu.

2 sannin vs. Itachi... Sannin win.

First of all. Experience has helped more than most any other ability unless Kishi has anything to say about it.

MS is amazingly cheap and a bloodline, to consider that a jutsu is like considering WS or DR or Manipulation of gravity a jutsu. Its not like anybody can learn it. Jariya's jutsu is better since it is more diverse and not nearly as costly.

It did not take him 8 min. to go into sage mode, he didn't go until he needed to.
And i did not say that he beat pain, I said that he went toe to toe with someone who people considered a god and killed Hanzo who people had considered to be a monster. But taking on 3 pains is incredible and if Pain had not have been cheap and waited for him to put his guard down then Jariya probably could have taken 2 more (maybe not deva) but even pain stated that if he had known he might have won.

And another thing is that Jariya is not even alone when he has ma and pa. so not only is genjutsu going to be ineffective considering that he has someone to take him out of gen but he has genjutsu that caught 3 paths. How is Itachi going to deal with that?
