Tsunade's grandmother was Mito Uzumaki.
Name a living Uzumaki older than Tsunade?
Mito Uzumaki lived long enough to instruct Kushina Uzumaki during which period Tsunade was alive and doubtless knew other members of her clan.
Tsunade was alive before either the first hokage or second hokage died. Which means she would have known other members of both clans.
So tell me again why Tsunade isn't the oldest living Uzumaki that we are of and why she wouldn't know her clan techniques.

Yeah. It obviously does. That's the way genetics work. I don't have my father's last name but I am still in his blood line and I would be a part of his clan if we had those.
Naruto is a member of the Namikaze and Uzumaki clan. Why? Because his ancestors were.
My great grandmother was a Morgan so I am a Morgan as well though I don't share that last name. If my grandfather was George Washington I would be a Washington.... It's really not a difficult concept.

In clan and name, no. Did she inherit their longevity and knack for sealing techniques? Most likely. He worded it wrong, but the guy's got a good point in there.

OK. Me and a friend were discussing this earlier today. I want to see what the base has to contribute to this particular discussion.

Conditions:
Edit: Edo Itachi: Full health. ( It was meant to be Edo all this time >.> )
3 Sannins: Full health.

Note: I don't think any of the Sannins are fast enough to dodge Amaterasu, and we know Itachi took down Orochimaru with a NON-Mangekyo Genjutsu. Tsunade would be of help to heal the others. What do you guys think? :shrug:

EDIT: HOLY CRAP, I just realized that I had mentioned Itachi, and not... EDO Itachi. I knew whilst I was reading the comments there must have been a reason as to why so many people were instantly giving the Sannins the win. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. So, Edo Itachi vs the 3 Sannins.

tsunade does not even have mokuton, even thou hashi was her grandfather.
its not wise to say she is uzumaki and can perform their typical seals...

Well for one, she has the Yin seal on her forehead like Mito did. It's supposed to be an S-rank seal, so there you go. In regards to her longevity, she's still only in her fifties, so I can't PROVE that. It's just all genetics. She's a descendant of both Senju and Uzumaki blood, so she potentially has a long lifespan.

Did you not read any of my previous posts. Do not just say "obviously" explain it... or don't make a point. I agree with someone earlier that said he could run out of Chakra. The Sannins are overrated anyways. Orochimaru got owned... TWICE. Jiraiya got his ass kicked by Pein, and if Nagato was mobile he would have been screwed. Itachi took down EDO Nagato in the Manga so he's already, theoretically, bested two Sannins. Tsunade is uselsss. I'll admit she could break Susano'o but not against Yata mirror.

well jiraiya fought the six paths of pain its a lot different than fighting nagato and besides itaichi had help from naruto and killer bee so dont go round diminishing jiraiyas efforts just because itaichi sealed him jiraiya stood up to the six paths on his own with out Intel. and itaichi can not take on all three at once its to mutch and dont forget tsunade can heal tskuomi along with other stuff and she technically is invincible with he self healing tech and when oro isnt sick in bed is pretty hard to take care of and even itaichi him self sees jiraiya as a threat

Plus, Yin was supposed to go to the Uchiha. That was what helped the Sage to bring about the Tailed Beasts. Yang was supposed to be what allowed the Sage to give them form. That's what the Senju inherited. Not hatin', just sayin'.
