Itachi Uchiha vs Pein

i think pain would win i mean i dont think itachi would defeat hanzu so it would b almost impossible to defeat pain bc pain defeated hanzu
They are two of my most loved and favorites characters in Narutoworld..Itachi in "geniusness" and Pein (btw,i prefer the ORIGINAL name version and not the West deviation of it) on "beastness"

On topic now. IN MY OPINION, i think Pein would win in the end or the probability of Pein winning is greater then the other way around, even without Chibaku Tensei.
And the reason why i say this is due to the physical stamina and chakra values. Itachi, even in 100% without its sickness issue, would run out faster then Pein and that will determine this God's fight.
In Naruto fight (and Jyraya too) we saw that it take massive amounts of chackra and physical strain to completely defeat an already worn Pein (2 Sage modes, Kyubbi mode, another Sage mode and finally, well, his normal mode lol)..and yes, i'm completely aware that Naruto DIDN'T HAD the FULL info of Pein skills, he learned throw out the battle. But that's not really the issue here and i believe that even if had it from the start,it would need at least 2-3 Sage modes to defeated him.
Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu are devastating to the eyes and Susanoo to the whole body. And i think we all can acknowledge that Itachi would have to use them several times against Pein, either to attack or defend. Shinra Tensei its devastating the body too, but only in full power/scale and Chibaku its not allowed so...
The only chance Itachi would have was in defeating all the 6 Paths, or at least 4-5, as fast as possible which would be a gigantic task/deal. Yes he is a genius, a formidable one and he can definitely do it, but we can't make little of Pein and his Paths mightiness. We have to respect the power of both, well i do.
So, if Itachi genius could find a away to quickly get rid of 4-5 Paths AND THE RIGHT ONES, it's his win!If he can't due to Pein mightiness and the fight gets long (ex:Jiraya's or Naruto's long) then the win goes to Pein eventually!

just look at kakashi, naruto on beginning had more stamina than him but he stood no chance

1. you limiting Pain to not be able to use chibaku tensei is bullshit
2. allowing both fighters to know all about each other is also bullshit. Pain secrets are unknown to everyone (except Naruto and i guess Jiraiya) and Pain was even considered a myth to the villagers of Hidden Rain.. Itachi also has his own secrets possesing the sealing sword and unblockable shield.. Ninjas main weapon and tool is secrecracy. not letting the opponent know their next move or what they have up their sleeves
3. most important this has been done already. partake in the past threads that has been made by others who have made the "Itachi vs Pain" threads if you want to voice your opinion..

!There are many variables in a battle, especially when two beasts are facing each other. What i was trying to say is that the amount of chakra and the physical stamina/resistance are the decisive factors to the outcome of the battle. And in this perspective Pein is better, superior to Itachi, so long fights would favor and go to Pein..however Itachi is a genius, super fast and strong, so i can accept that he could manage to take 3-4 Paths quick, especially having their intel.That said, i vote Pein

Because it's very hard to defeat all 6 Paths (taking in mind that he also have Itachi's intel) so it would be a long fight!It's possible, and very with someone like Itachi, but it would take powerfull tecniques, which would lead to lots of chakra losses and physical strain to Itachi which in a long fight it would be crucial

Pain is not god, he is basically a dead corpse and nagato is a machine walker, however his strength has gotten him the name god from his village
but susanoo is in fact an embodiment of god
