Itachi Uchiha vs Pein

I'm both a Pein/Nagato and Itachi enthiusiast.

But I'm going with Pein on this one, due to the fact that Itachi cannot sustain MS for long enough, nor keep the insane Rinnegan techniques in check.

As well as this, even if he miraculously defeats the Six Paths, how is he going to find Nagato? And even then, Nagato will probably fire his nail and control Itachi FTW, since Itachi would probably be near-death at that point to evade it... also Nagato has his bi$%& to protect him as well.

And there's the matter of Itachi getting sucked into Chibaku Tensei if it even gets to that point...

but he can only rely on genjutsu(WHICH HE MASTERS MORE THAN ANYONE), to defeat pain. Then again as i said on page 11 i think it was. There i posted a way for pain to counter....

But who knows what can happen, after all kishi's the one with the unique jutsu "plot no jutsu" right??

Tsukuyomi: For now, we have to assume that it would work on Pein. However, it is not a AOE genjutsu. So, it captures one path while the others attack Itachi. However, Naraka Pein can just revive them and have them attack Itachi again.

Susano'o: Susano'o is a chakra construct, therefore a fodder for preta path. The sword of totsuka is also chakra, it gets absorbed.

In the end, Pein eats Itachi for breakfast and shits two sharingan for Orochimaru to steal

i think itachi can win this becuz all he can use amaterasu to stop deva path and he can also use amaterasu to stop the summonings like he did in ch 550. And yea he can use amaterasu quite a lot like he did against sasuke vs itachi fight. And itachi can stop preta path by susano's sword which seals anything or taijutsu and the other pain bodies are not nearly as formidable as deva path so can be sealed by the sword of totsuka or other ninjutsu.
