hashirama will be in a genjutu before the fight even starts. you mean like he did to kabuto, nagato, bee and kcm naruto. oh wait. hashirama can grow wood from anywhere on his body. no matter what BS scenario you try to come up with, it will be countered effortlessely.

Once Hashirama is caught in a genjutsu, he wont be able to do anything

Making wood at that point would be impossible

How does he counter tsukiyomi? Itachi is not Madara. His tsukiyomi can't be countered like he said himself. And Itachi also has Amaterasu if he wants to avoid eye-contact

Hashi wins he is too strong for Itachi he fought uchihas all the time and has more battle experience.. Itachi doesn't have a counter for his would techniques they are too powerful even Madara said that they would level the map what does that tell you that hashi moves are real strong enough to probably wipe out mountains like Madara and if gai found a way to fight uchihas without getting cause i'm sure hashi fought an uchiha who used genjutsu if tsukyomi kills like ur saying it does Itachi should just face the war himself putting everyone in it

This is an Itachi fan speaking: Hashirama wins. people forget that Itachi is not an EMS user, hashirama went up against the highest possible level of MS techs from someone (madara) who doesnt suffer from them.

I think Itachi is smarter than Madara but he doesnt have the chakra power to put Hashirama away (unless you go the route of "Itachi>SO6P because totsuka+yata")

Hashirama senju. However itachi would put up a good fight, it seems to me that madara was very arrogant and that probably was one of the reasons why he lost to hashirama, he had the kyuubi under his control after all and still lost, however when itachi fights he is very tactical, he might trap hashirama under his genjutsus a times but I believe that in the end hashirama would be the winner mid to high difficulty.
